Family left

My aunt, uncle, and cousin left this morning. We had an uneventful, relaxing day yesterday (which included sorting through my grandparents' seashell collection to divide it into piles, as well as watching the last Buffy episode- I cried again- and my favorite SG-1 episode- I squeed a lot). Thursday, however, we went to the zoo, which was lots of fun. I'm hoping to get a few pictures up on my photoblog today.

Anyhoo, I woke up at 8am to help them pack up and see them off, then I went back to sleep. I slept most of the day (10.5 hours in total) and then started work on my Rejuvenated story for the 132 Moods challenge. It's going well. I hope to have it done today, and edited & posted by tomorrow.

Op! Right, I meant to mention that and was going to edit my post then decided no one would care/was keeping up so I didn't bother. Sorry. Nope, they didn't take her.
In a perfect world, I'll get a great, high-paying job and move out again and take her with me. She gets along better with Maxwell than with any of the others by far. (Course that's not saying much because not getting along equals her stalking the cats then launching herself at them from above when they least expect it and chasing them out of whatever room they're in... or standing guard in front of the basement door so the others are too scared to go down and use the litterboxes) So for now, she's a semi-permanent resident here, though things are getting better little-by-little each day.

I caught that episode of SG-1 ('Window of Opportunity') and immediately thought of you. *G* It's such a fun episode!

Awww, thanks for thinking of me! Apart from the lovely time loop plot and the great balance of humor and drama, Daniel just makes such adorable facial expressions throughout that episode. *happy sigh*

Oohhh! And this is an excuse to use my Daniel & Jack icon for the first time. Yay! :-)

I wasn't able to watch much of the marathon, but I made it a point to watch that episode :-) I love 2010 as well, and watched the beginning of it, but the ending always makes me cry (I know it's an Alternate Timeline but I don't like watching them die!) so I made myself stop and go do chores instead.
