This just popped up on one of my SciFi lists: http://www.boston.com/ae/tv/gallery/topscifishows/
It's a listing of someone's top 50 SciFi shows. I really don't see how some of them fit into that category. And as much as I love SG:Atlantis I totally don't see how it beats Buffy (at least in this universe) but I didn't write the list. It's interesting, though. Glad to see some of my favorites weren't overlooked but I can't agree with most of the ordering. :-)

Still, I thought I'd share the link.

Where is Farscape??!!! Where is Deep Space Nine?? Two of my favorites ever, and I'd put both right up there with ST:TNG as some of the best sci-fi shows ever. It's light-years better than Voyager, Stargate Atlantis, and about 90% of this list. I have no faith in the validity of any sci-fi list that leaves these out.

I've never seen Buffy, but I know enough about it to know that it deserves to be higher than it is. Also, the Bionic Woman was a way better show than The Six Million Dollar Man, much like Xena was better than Hercules. The men may have started it but the women did it better, and with much more intriguing storylines. *G* Also, Futurama should have rated higher.

On the plus side, go Lost! It's perhaps a little too early to rate it that high, but I'm glad it's on the list. And I really miss Mulder and Scully....I'm watching the X-Files ep 'Small Potatoes' right now and it's really bringing up memories of how very much I used to love this show!
