CAPS!

I love my Caps. Even when we suck and lose horribly (which is frequently, lately), I still love 'em.

But tonight. They were fantastic. Vechy is SO my boy! Such passion and determination and Ohhhh my GODS I love that boy! (Crosby? Crosby who?) I KNEW he'd pull it off tonight. I just had a feeling. And when he gets all happy and excited after such an amazing goal? *melts* And then they kicked arse in the shoot-out (we're 3-for-3!) even without Ollie. Yeah. GOOD game. The first Caps game to be televised nationally this year (one of only two, I think) and we WON! I'm sooooooooo in love with Alex. *cheers*

My boys won tonight, too. :-)

Tomorrow's should be a good game. I'm going to try to catch as much of it as I can before HP (which might not be much at all if I have to fight for the tv...)

We're sucking muchly this season (these last 3 seasons? ::misses Hasek...and Satan, and Barnes, and Ray::), so it should be a good, even match.

Satan always beats up my boys. I don't like him any more ;-)
But Hasek... gods, he was the BEST! His performance in the Olympics was one of the main reasons I really got hooked on hockey in the first place. I've actually got two little beanie-baby-type bears that are hockey-related. One is black and sports the capitals logo on his tummy. The other is blue and sports a HASEK 39 on his back. (Spare me the black & blue jokes) Of course I still love my Ollie best... but Dom was just amazing.

And I'd give you the line about how easy it is to beat the Capitals right now... but then games like tonight's against the Canadiens happen and it's hard to know which Capitals team shows up sometimes. LOL
