I bought my ticket for HP4 online last night. I was worried it would be sold out if I didn't buy in advance, even though I'm going to a show in the morning during the first day. So I just went and bought it online. Now I just need to make sure to get there on time :-)

Thursday and Friday I have days off from work. I plan to spend Thursday running around doing a massive amount of errands and chores (including some I've been neglecting for weeks now). But I hope I'll finally have time to sit down and sort out my own requests, as so many of you have been so sweet in making offers. *HUGE HUGS*

I also hope to make a serious dent in the last song meme gift fic I'm writing, as well as a Cedric fic that I need to finish BEFORE I go see HP4 in theaters. But I'm sort of hoping to knock that out tonight before/after LOST. The dang sex scene in the fic is giving me a hard time. Olly (who I've always seen as a top when he's with Perce or the twins) is suddenly wanting to bottom and it's twisting my mind. Grrrr! Bad Oliver!

OMG I can't wait until RENT next week. I'm more excited about it than GoF or LWW. Can't wait!!! I reeeeeeeeally hope I get the day off so I can see it opening day. My boss may or may not be in town because of Thanksgiving, so we'll see. I'm hopeful. But either way, I plan on seeing it a few times in theaters.

Okay. Back to work. *sigh*

im so psyched about GOF! im actually going to the midnight premier, so that's really awesome. im half tempted to wear my "hobbit" costume, and say that I accidentally had a transfiguration accident ;) (i have one of the wands from the noble collection that im thinking of bringing with me either way lol). hope it's a MUCH more satisfying movie than POA O.O

I ordered my tickets last nite, I'm bringing my daughter with me to see it in IMAX but sadly not until next Wednesday. I'm so tempted to sneak and see it earlier without her and then go again next week, but I won't. She's so ticked off that I even joked about it.
My husband doesn't get why I'm excited. He loves the books, read them all before me, but he waits for the movies to come out on video. He keeps saying, "But you already know what's going to happen...." He's making me crazy.

We're going as a family to see LWW. We just finished the book last week(It was so long since I had read it, I was surprised at how much I forgot). I can't wait.

POA was immensely satisfying to me, much more emotionally resonant than the previous two, with better acting all around, IMHO. The thing I liked the most about POA was that the kids acted like real kids...well, that and just about everything with Remus. *G* If it's the departures from canon that bother you, you're likely to be disappointed with GOF too from what I've heard, but I'm hoping that they've put together a good enough movie that deviations from canon are easily overlooked in the big picture of what makes a good movie, not a good book.

I'm soo jealous of everyone who gets to see this opening day! I was planning on going to the first available showing wearing my Hermione costume from Halloween last year, until I found out that I work this week. I don't get out of work until 2am each night, so I can't even catch a midnight showing! :( Looks like I won't be seeing this until Thanksgiving, so I'm going to try my best to avoid spoilers...

I just didnt like the extreme changes the director made as far as cannon is concerned, as well as the set and all. it would have been a little easier to watch if he'd just kept the same sets and all that--i didnt mind the kids dressing in their usual clothes and such, but in the books, it always puts such an emphasis on their wearing Hogwarts robes. i am slightly disappointed about certain things they had to take out of GOF, but it looks really good as a whole movie so far from the clips ive seen. plus, with a 700 some page book, you cant exactly put everything in there, you know? :) as long as he stays true to the general plot, im totally fine.

actually, as my friend and I were saying, POA was good as a movie separate on its own, but as far as being a great book adaptation, er--it needed a lot of work.
