Please forgive me for the lateness... and for the fact that this might feel a little short. I adopted an "at least 5 pages" rule for all my requested giftfics this year and this made it to page five... so technically it isn't short... but it seems it to me. omg! The description of Wesley at one spot about the blonde hair getting into his face and the blue-green eyes.... I thought... this is scary my latest boy crush (Chase) has a similar description. Evidently I must have had a thing for that type of look for a while. LOL!!

I Loved how you interspered the lines from the opening of the movie with the depictions.

I thought that you did an Excellent job of keeping both of them in character and of keeping Buttercup human and distant/aloof at the same time. I also think that the depictions about the farm and her riding at the beginning also set the stage for keeping her human.

Loved where she was almost laughing at him- but couldn't. Just seemed sweet somehow.

And the ending- the ending was just absolutely perfect.

I absolutely adore this. Wow! Thank you so very, very much.

Oh, I'm SO with you about the blond hair in his face- that's my absolutely favorite image of Wesley from the movie. Sooooo sexy but also so farmboy and I thought it was perfect for the fic. And whooo, what a type to like! Go you for having such good taste!

I'm so glad you thought I did a good job with the characterizations- I was terribly worried since it was my first attempt in the fandom. And I'm so glad you thought the beginning worked for her.

Thank you for the suggestions for the fic as well. I'm glad it turned out to your liking. It was certainly a challenge for me, so I'm really glad you enjoyed the fic- especially the ending :-)
