I owe you more feedback than I could ever count... but the short of it is THANK YOU for getting me into the Spander pairing through such amazing fics (and recs) and I wanted to write this as a gift for you since you didn't request anything from me. Oh my goodnes, thanks for emailing me about this! I never saw it!

On one level this is quite embarrassing (a story was written for me—unprecedented joy!!!—and I totally missed it! And therefore never thanked you!) and on the other hand, rather wonderful (I get a Christmas present in June!!)

The Spike and Xander in this story seemed quite charmingly familiar. *g* Human Spike getting sick halfway across the world from Sunnydale, the motorcycle ... they're my guys from the Fragments!verse, aren't they? ::is delighted::

Xander taking care of Spike makes me all squirmy inside, in a very good way.

Weeeeeell you could safely say that, I think ;-) My version of post-series Spike (which is featured pretty much only in bunches of completely unfinished fics-LOL) is a partially-human and partially-vampire sort of Spike. But I was intentionally channeling your Fragments!verse Spike & Xander while writing this; I'm glad you don't mind the obvious resemblance.
