Summary: The Marauders attempt to pull of their biggest and best prank ever… and they’ll succeed so long as Remus’ sneezes don’t get in the way.

Again, I'm sorry this is so late! I hope it turned out okay. I'm not sure about it still. *worries* You wrote me SUCH an incredible giftfic... I feel silly for writing something so... well, silly. But that's the Marauders for you :-) I hope you like this anyway... and I hope it helps kick off a great year for you! :-) Thanks for such wonderful stories!

Not my fic, but I wanted to say how much I loved this. I love the puppies both being sneezey! And I love the marauders looking out for each other.

I love it!!! I love it so much, especially the fact that it's so wonderfully silly. It's exactly what I wanted. And the prank... amazing. I particularly liked the badgers. Favourite bits:

Sirius groaned. He was rubbing his hand against a thigh as well: Remus’ thigh.

I laughed so much at that. It was just perfect. I adored Sirius and Remus's relationship in the story; I love it when they're all snuggly and sexy.

James looked at him with envy. “I want what you have,” he said with a sigh.

You wrote the Sirius/James relationship so well. Just the way that Sirius and James are so close but in a different way to Sirius and Remus.

As soon as Remus realized he was not going to be able to hold back the sneezes any longer, Remus buried his face into Sirius’ chest and the handkerchief as well. “ihhh-hihh-hihhhhhhhh… heh-Innkshhh! Ihgsh!” They were half-stifled, but quiet enough.

This was so wonderfully intimate, and totally sexy. Enough said.

“HAHShooo!”

All four of them froze, alarmed.

And then three heads turned towards Sirius.

With an embarrassed flush in his cheeks and a sniffle in his nose, Sirius shrugged. Apologetically, “Sorry, Mates. Just had to sneeze. Sniff! Sniff! I think I might have what Remus has after all.”

This was exactly how I imagine Sirius would be! And I loved the twist that Sirius caught Remus's cold. It's twice as good when they're both sneezing.

This was a great start to the year - thank you so much. I hope 2006 brings you lots of happiness.

Hey, I'm a Hufflepuff- I couldn't leave out the badgers! I'm glad you liked the prank. It took me AGES to come up with something massive that would make an impact during the holidays. That was definitely the hardest part of the fic for me. So I'm happy you thought it was enjoyable and silly and Marauderish!

That's definitely what I love most about writing the pups. I'm so glad you enjoyed that bit, too. It's possibly my favorite part in the whole fic *G*

While I'll read (and have written) Sirius/James in a relationship... this story's a good example of how I like them best. I'm really glad that you enjoyed their dynamic here.

I tried to leave a little hint or two about the possibility. With all their kissing I don't know how he could have escaped without catching it. I'm so happy you liked the twist! After all of Remus' struggling and misery, I couldn't have him be blamed for ruining the whole thing. Sirius, on the other hand, just lets it roll off his back. What's more detention for a prank that good? :-) Plus the image of the two of them snuggling together afterwards all sniffly and sneezy... I couldn't resist both puppies and thought it fit nicely.
