Class was cancelled today (yay!) still need to write the weekly paper and send it in, but I'll do that tonight. I've been feeling icky since last night- can't stop sneezing and feeling achey and all that. Yeah, yeah, sounds good but it doesn't feel so good. LOL. At any rate, tis a good day to stay in pajamas all day and nap :-)
Just finished watching the first half of 'Helen of Troy' from yesterday. I really liked it. Had a hard time figuring out what city they were in half the time... but that could be because I'm tired. At any rate, I really liked it. I was pleasantly surprised to see John Rhys-Davies at the beginning- that was great :-) Menelaus and Paris were good... but I really loved the character development of Agamemnon(Rufus Sewell, who was in A Knight's Tale and Arabian Nights) And Craig Kelly was SOOOO adorable as Pollux! I just wanted to jump in and hug him all over. Ok, so he's cuter as Vince (the Michael equivalent in the UK Queer as Folk) but he was darn cute with his, what, 15 lines and death scene? heehee. Cute little laddie. Though I must admit, the US boys are FAR better looking all around. I have trouble seeing Stuart (the Brian equiv) as a playboy shagaholic... he's, just... well... not really my idea of an irresistable hunk. And Nathan (the Justin) looks more like a surfer without a board and with an English accent. Doesn't really yell 'chicken' to me even with the same lines. Ah well. I do like Craig Kelly... and I am looking forward to waching the rest of Helen of Troy... even if his character's dead.
I also have to say, I really want to see Identity when it comes out. It looks like my kind of thing. Not to mention John Cusack. heehee
