I like yours a lot, but I'm bitterly disappointed with my banner result. All it did was take my current default first, then the first six icons listed in my saved icons. I was hoping it would pull from them randomly or something, to better represent my array of fannish interests. Instead of using any of my nearly 50 LOTR ones I have loaded, I got six disney pics :( Guess I'd have to delete all my icons and then reload them again to get a more fitting banner...not worth my time. Nice idea though.

(Also, I find it intriguing that the creator is named after one of the worst possible hospital-acquired bacterial infections out there. *G*)

I did notice the same, and I agree. I was hoping for a more random sampling from the whole lot. I am guessing that it just takes the first ones because it's easier to code that way, especially when people only have a few user icons to begin with. I still liked my results, but I'm sorry yours was less spectacular *pouts*

As for the name.... eeeewwwwww! LOL! But I am, once again, in awe of your knowledge :-)

I'm not so terribly keen on the yellow and pink... but:

OMG, thanks! How'd you do that? It looks awesome! I think I like the deep red and the dark purple ones the best. The yellow and green ones look a little unnatural, but I suppose I could always come up with some little mental storyline/excuse for H/C to go with it. *G*

Now, if only I knew how to use this in my LJ, or a webpage, if I had one... :)

I just opened up my paint program and played around with the hues until they sort of looked right and strung them all together :-)

Because, obviously, it's more fun than doing the writing that I said I was going to do now *hangs head*

But I'm glad you like it! I like the red and purple the best as well :-) The problem with some of the others was the blue already in the sky in the original. But it's not too bad a result. You can tell I don't make colorbars, though. I'm sure there is some pre-defined setting for the various colors, but I didn't take the time to see if there were a tutorial or anything.

I'm all for using it in my LJ. I desperately want a Legolas or L/G theme to it, and I'm a paid user, but I haven't a clue how to do much with my paid account, and I definitely don't have the skills to do any fancy graphics work.

Speaking of putting stuff off, you're not alone there! I was supposed to work on cleaning house each of the last 3 days, and I kept taking naps, or going to get food, or reading just one more fic, or going to another hockey game like I did today. (For the record, I LOVE going to live games for our local hockey team. I know it's probably nothing compared to NHL games, but it's a good, fun, inexpensive night out and the atmosphere is so neat. There's just something about being able to hear the smack of the puck against the stick or the wall, or the smack of the players into the plexiglass that's really appealing to me. And I never get bored with the game like I do with basketball, and unlike on tv, I have no trouble following the puck when I'm actually at the game. So count me newly hooked, even if it is just with local games so far!) But anyway, I totally understand the lack of working...
