I just noticed the new LJ location feature! How long has that been there?
My GOSH by LJ people have been adding so many features lately!

I just have to mention that my cat curled up and sleeping on my lap as I type this. At my old desk sometimes Max would sit with his hind legs on my lap and his front legs on my desk... but this desk's different. He is NOT a lapsitter. He's sat on my lap maybe 3 times EVER like this and today he decided he wanted to. I was home from work and he was his usual sithcat terror earlier (chewing on every bit of plastic in my room) so I took some time out to play with him. And then I had to go walk dog and I got back and sat back down to work and OMG he jumped onto my lap, curled up, and fell asleep with his head on my arm! Sooooooooo cute! Usually he'll put a paw on my leg or belly and decide it's not steady enough for him and he'll leave... but this time he walked on and stayed and laid down. I'm thrilled! I feel so loved. *G* It's been about 45mins now... the phone rang upstairs but I wasn't going to get up to get it. LOL

Shite. Mom came home and yelled downstairs to me and Maxwell freaked and got up. Damn. Ah well. Nice while it lasted. Maybe he'll do it again some day ;-)

I slept over at my friend's house last night, and she has cats too. One of them (Popcorn) is really overweight and doesn't like people, but he liked me and one of my friends. He came and stood on my leg and he was really heavy but I didn't want to move him. He stayed for like 5 minutes and everyone asked "doesn't that hurt?" because I was in such a weird position with a giant cat on me. And at night her black cat (Spike)came really close to me but I couldn't see him in the dark until he came right in front of my face. That was scary at 3:30 in the morning.

But cats are cute.
