Nearly had a heart attack during the Celebrity Duets results show!
Serves me right for only spending an hour calling in, instead of 2 hours. I must have called only a hundred times. It's all my fault Hal was in the bottom three. LOL

On the good side, instead of voting I made two batches of blueberry muffins and my coworkers (and bosses) LOVED them today. Yayness! I'm glad, because everyone could use something nummy at the end of a busy week. One of my coworkers bought me an iced coffee from Starbucks to thank me, too. And for the first time in several years it didn't completely kill my digestive system. But that's probably because it was already screwed up. Anyhoo... it was a good day at work. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my job? heehee Think I might have. Once or twice.

But next week, I'm going to have to call for all two hours. Even though I'll be watching ER and biting my nails through the whole thing!

Let me recap...

Recap of last night.

Little Richard gone (they said prior engagement, but I think he's sick because his voice sounded awful last night) but Wayne did perfect/hilarious impression of him to fill the void.

All celebrities sing that 'Do you remember' song (Under the Sun) and were good.

Then each performs another song with their celebrity (like last week) and we get little video clips about their work during the last week in preparing.

Jai sang- safe
Carly sang- bottom 3
Alfonso sang- safe
Cheech sang- bottom 3
Hal sang Mr.Roboto (and rocked, IMHO- Hal's girlfriend was jumping up and down happily)- we'll find out after Lucy sings.
Lucy sang- we'll find out after commercial

Either Lucy or Hal had the highest number of votes this week... and it turns out to be Lucy. Go Lucy! But it means Hal was in the bottom 3.

When asked to be brief about what the contestants need to do to work, Marie says "get more votes". LOL

Who's going home? Cheech, Carly, or Hal? We'll find out after commercial.

Cheech is safe. Judges are really shocked and suprised at the results. They would never have guessed this.

So either Carly or Hal is going home. We'll find out after ANOTHER commercial.

All right, we're back. Carly or Hal? Hal, I'm sorry......... but you'll have to sing again next week. Carly, you had the lowest number of votes. Carly's mom in the audience looks so sad.

Carly preforms with young guy from last night and when they sing together, sharing the mic, the guy steals it and we can't even hear poor Carly. But she went out with a smile and said she wants the world to watch out for her because she's totally going to keep trying to break into the music business.

Wayne tells us to tune in next week when there will be a DOUBLE elimination!

Thank you! I can't believe I forgot to watch tonight. Things have been a mess today. My inlaws were in a car accident yesterday, so my husband spent the day in NH back and forth from the hospital. My father in law had surgery on his broken wrist today and my mother in law should be coming home tomorrow.

Uh, I think you get a pass today in the remembering a silly reality tv show department!

That sounds just awful but I'm glad it wasn't any worse. I hope they both make good recoveries. *HUGS*
