Strokes and Stuff

I'm planning to put up a new story on my Strokes page this weekend, which is a "big" story as far as the series go. I wrote it... egads... in the spring? summer? I don't remember. But I've been wanting to post it forever. So if you want to read the series as-is, do so now. Cuz it's gonna change some things!
In case you haven't been reading my writing LJ, I added a bunch of new Strokes stories this month, both in the Complete series and the Beginnings series. I highly recommend the Beginnings series. And Both 'Visiting' and 'So Much for Romance' have lots of sneezes. Soooo I read those, yeah? And, again, I'd love fb :-)

I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow. Just a cleaning, but I hope for the best. And hope I have my regular dentist, not freaky old guy.


I got How I Met Your Mother on DVD in the mail yesterday *G* Am excited. Might break it open tonight and watch my favorite episodes :-)

Ok, I realllly need to get to your Strokes site and get reading. My husband has been home from work way too much lately. Partly because of medical issues :( and partly because he has to use use up his comp time this month. I love him to death, but he's totally killing my alone time.

I'm so glad you posted about your Stokes stories. I've been meaning to ask you which is the best chapter to start with? I haven't read any of them yet because I've been waiting for you to write more of the stories at the beginning of the series. Now that you've completed NaNoWriMo I think it's as good a time as any to jump in and start reading. I have a lot of catching up to do. ;-)

Oohhhh! I would *love* to hear what someone who reads them in chronological order thinks about 'em!! That's really how they should be read, after all. Most of the stories missing in the timeline are just fluff or supplemental stories. Everything *important* is there. And, yeah, reading in order is probably best :-)

And I apologize for any/all errors. I found some but there are still a ton out there, I'm sure. NaNoWriMo's about writing... not editing :-)

*HUGE HUGS* about your husband. With all my family's and friends' medical problems, I more than understand. I'm sending many feel better vibes your way. I hope things start getting better.

Don't worry about the stories. They're not going anywhere. Just don't read 'Okay' or anything past that on the timeline (although 'So Much for Romance' has no spoilers) until you've read the stories that happen before 'Okay'. Otherwise I can't be responsible for the consequences! LOL

Hello! I just stumbled across your LJ coincidentally but I was a fan of the TOS (and especially the long-gone TOT) from way back in the day. I recognize brigid's name too from Bondi's page.

My fetish is more centered on nose blowing but I like sneezing too, and my jaw dropped when I saw two familiar names while surfing LJ so I had to pop in and say hello.
