tarotgalAck. I know. You don't even have to tell me. I missed two more plot bunny hatchings, didn't I? And I haven't touched the SF Annual challenge in a few days. Crapola. I'm so sorry, guys. Will try to do that tomorrow.
To make matters worse, I had my big dentist appointment today. God a post & crown. Cost nearly $1500 and because I reached my limit in dental insurance for the year, I had to pay $1200 out of pocket. (Thank you Mr. VISA) I took some motrin so it's not bad, but there was lots of bleeding and it took TWO HOURS from start to finish.
The good news is, I started thinking about that Jamie (Strokesverse) novel I began during NaNoWriMo and thought it might be fun to write a dentist visit scene into the novel. I can see him enjoying his frequent hockey-related visits to the dentist :-)
I've also been thinking of doing an icon overhaul. Not *too* much of one, because there are a lot of icons I can't part with. But I want some new ones which means getting rid of old ones. Anybody know of a nice 'thank you' icon somewhere?
Ow. Tired and hurting. Damn dental work. Going away now.

My van is at the garage now, I should have it back tomorrow after $1582.00 worth of work :( So not what I was planning on. We are not charging anything at this point(I broke up with Mr Visa and try not to see him anymore), so I was trying to hold off on some of the less urgent stuff, but my in laws ended up loaning us the $$ until tax time. I hate owing them, but I feel so much better that everything will be set and fixed.
If I can do anything to help out with the challenge let me know. You know I'm totally not computer savvy but can do anything else you need.

Ugh! That's awful! I'm sorry. I hope that will be the last major thing you'll need to do on it for a while!

That's very admirable of you! I hope it works out.
I try to use him every so often. My credit rating is very good, but it's not excellent because I only use my credit card about 2 or 3 times a year on small things (Heck, until last year, my limit was $500 and I only had the card for emergencies). So I'm hoping if I use him just a little bit more and then take a few months to pay off the balance(the magic number is 3 payments) that will help my situation just a little. Of course, I don't have a house/mortgage like you or anything like that to help my rating :-) So I don't really mind using Mr. VISA today on this. Plus I get paid tomorrow so I'll be in a good place going into the new year. Especially after I just paid my parents back for money they spent on me over the last few years when I was working parttime and broke ($3600). Now all I have to worry about is paying off my student loan, but that's fixed at 4.2% so not too bad.
Still... the world would be a heck of a lot easier if we just went back to the trade system, don't you think? "Thank you for fixing my teeth. Here's a generous helping of gay male erotica h/c stories for you!" heehee!
