So happy things are looking up for you! So may good things - congrats on your raise, and all the other good things. The hockey tickets are very exciting, if I could only get an extra chance to see my baseball boys I'd be in heaven :)

The author talk sounds great too. A couple of years ago I went to see Jodi Picoult speak which was really interesting. Other than the fact that she gave a way a subplot surprise in the book I was in the middle of reading at the time.

I'm looking forward to the Fantastic Four fic. I'm stuck again here.
