It's that time again! I'm not ready to write them, but I thought I should ask now so I know what I'm getting in for. Every year around the holidays as a thank you to my readers and flist, I write giftfics for people. It's going to work a little different this year. I'm going to allocate a certain number of fics per date/holiday and I'll do my very best to get those fics in on those dates so that won't completely overwhelm me. I already feel a bit overwhelmed with RL so I guess we'll see how it goes!

MAKE A REQUEST-
Reply to this post with the answers to the following questions if youwant a gift fic. The more information you give, the easier it will befor me to write. Here's what I need you to give me:
1. Your username (This should be the easy part)
2. Spot you want (Chanukah/WinterSolstice/Christmas OR New Years OR Afterwards)
3. Fandom (ONLY original characters or fandoms I'm familiar with, please. And I'd prefer not to write Real Person fics)
4. Pairing(s) if any(I'm pretty much open to ANY pairings here, even ones I don't ship- het, slash, and femslash are all acceptable though you know I prefer writing slash)
5. Character(s) you want to see sneezing if any and if you have a preference(just so there's no confusion when I go to write the fic. The ficdoesn't have to involve sneezing, but obviously it can if you'd like)
6. Rating or range of ratings (and/or specific stopping points. ex: kissing but no sex... or sex but nothing graphic... etc.)

Plot, situations, kinks, elements, sneezing/no sneezing, colds/allergies/other, etc. (My list of squicks is getting shorter and shorter by the day, so there's VERY little I won't agree to write at this point. Heh, so, I feel kinda strange as it seems I am the first to respond, and I am definitely not on your friends list...I don't even have LJ. I do read your comments/stories and stuff though! I just usually don't have much time to leave comments.

So you can put me at the bottom of your list, when that list becomes more available, but I thought I'd put in a request anyway.

7. Shawn gets sick (with little or no warning at all), and is in denial of course, but Gus and/or his dad can tell he is off/not himself from the get go. He is not his usual bouncy self, and through the course of solving a case gets progressively worse. Lassiter and O'Hara may not notice at first, Shawn even incorporates his sneezing into his "visions" to pass it off as part of the "trance". Only when more noticable/telltale symptoms like hoarsness of voice or congested coughing tip them off. Then somehow he is wounded during the showdown of bringing the criminal out in the open (i.e. shot, but in the leg or arm, nothing life threatening!) and while the EMT's are taking his vitals (Shawn protesting all the way, insisting he's fine) it all comes out in the open, and there is no way to deny it anymore. Once he is discovered, he then switches gears and tries to milk it for all it is worth, at that point being too exhausted to continue the cover up. And the illness hampers his recovery from the wound making the hospital stay more annoying for him (because he has to stay put), his friends (because he won't stay put) & the staff (because it's Shawn after all)!

I feel a little awkward asking because I've gone in to serious lurker mode pretty much everywhere lately (about the only exception being ffvii_100 on ij)...although if you want to give me a prompt, I'm more than happy to do my best to reciprocate, and if you can't fit me in, that's fine.

All of the flowers around the precinct for the holiday has everyone sure that Ryo's just suffering from allergies. The boys get home that night (Dee got rid of Bikky somehow because he wanted the two of them to have the night alone) and Dee realizes that it wasn't the flowers doing it at all but Ryo's come down with a cold. He then proceeds to take care of Ryo instead of taking him out as the original plan had been. Nice slow smexing optional.

well I always enjoy your fics, so I welcome any new stories, BUT your icon just made me realize I would love to see a Buttercup/Wesley Sneezefic. Basic plot: Wesley gets a cold and tries to be brave about it/hide it, Buttercup discovers his illness and takes care of him. Setting: after they fall in love, but before he goes away, so they are still living in that rural farm place.

Also, I am still really into Queer as Folk at the moment. I like Justin/Brian, Brian/Michael (as friends mostly) and Ben/Michael.

Personally I am a fan of the wet aspect of the fetish and I like all the related cold symptoms as well as sneezing.

Oh, how I love B/J.
8) Things like vomiting, feces and foot fetishes freak me out, but, really, I've liked all your fics and haven't been squicked by anything you've written. I trust you not to scar me. :P

How about the result of a prank done by Elladan and Elrohir resulting in Glorfindel (ai, the mighty Balrog-slayer downed? must be bad) getting sick (snowballing him? buckets of frigid water? frozen ponds?) and Erestor trying to take revenge - but softening when he realizes that the twins, or one of them at least, are in the same boat after setting up said prank. I don't know - whatever you want to go with here; I'm just suggesting potential plot lines.
6. As graphic as you like and as the story merits - I'd like a light-hearted story, which might not need anything too graphic, but that's up to you. Whether or not it has sneezing is also up to you.
7. Actually, just tie Glorfindel up. I want to see him so sick and restless, and perhaps angry, that he needs to be restrained but takes it totally sexually. ("My dear adviser, are those ropes for use on me?")

The show I believe you're thinking of is Forever Knight- a show about a vampire cop who hated the fact that he was a vampire and wanted to be human and help humans in the meantime. Sound familiar? LOL It ended in 1998 (I think) so unless you are REALLY young, I'm sure you were alive when that show was on!!! Knight Rider was a completely different show and had nothing to do with vampires.

Because I love Forever Knight (and Blood Ties, which is similar) I've got to agree that Moonlight isn't as good as the others. However, I've never missed an episode. Never written a Moonlight fic but I'll definitely try one for you!

Eeek. Okay, so I sat down to start on your story today, took a look at the blank document and freaked out. "I can't write Marcus/Oliver. What was I thinking?!!!" So I took a long shower and by the time I was done, I had the whole beginning written in my head. I just spent a few hours committing it to electronic paper and it rocks. And then I checked out your post here and it has absolutely nothing to do with your request. Meep! I mean, it's INCREDIBLY different. As in 'bears absolutely no resemblance to what you requested'. However... here's the thing, I'm limiting myself to about 5 pages for each person's story and I feel bad because the fic you wrote me is so much longer and so freakin incredible. So... hmmm. I'm thinking I quickly finish up this "unofficial" gift story and then, while I'm still in the M/O mood, I'll write your official one to your specifications. That way you still get what you want... and then you'll get an extra Marcus/Oliver treat on the side... and I'll feel not so guilty about writing you a short fic that surely won't be as good as that amazing piece you wrote for me. Of course, that might take another few days to work out. Does that sound okay?
