1. Harry Potter- Remus Lupin- ladykorana & iff(IJ) (Naturally! Quiet, kind, knows his stuff, loyal to his friends, afflicted, angst-ridden- what's not to love?)
2. Highlander- Duncan MacLeod- ladykorana (Oh, that Scottish honor and chivalry, that history and accent, that noble and heroic character *sigh*)
3. Lord of the Rings- Samwise- ladykorana (Sam is a simple, kind, loyal friend and extraordinarily strong and devoted at the same time. He amazes me and makes me want to be a better person)
4. Star Wars- Obi-Wan Kenobi- ladykorana & iff(IJ) (Both wisdom and vulnerability, not to mention skill and dead sexiness!)
5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer- Spike- smokeycat_430 (I love the character- mmm- and the way he grows/changes throughout the series)
6. Angel: the series- Angel- katleaf (There wouldn't be a show without him! I love his dark, brooding self and love watching all the changes he goes through throughout the series)
7. Forever Knight

9. Prison Break- Michael- symphonyflute (Brilliant, clever, selfless, sensitive, loyal, incredibly adorable- what's not to like?)
10. Boston Legal- Alan Shore- tinadp (He's the sort of womenizing character I should really hate, yet I adore him! I love how he fights hard for what he believes in, and I love how high he holds his friendships. Plus it's James Spader)
12. NCIS- Abby- iff(IJ) (LOVE this girl! The perfect mix of brilliance, cuteness, wildness and sensitivity)
13. Queer as Folk- Michael Novotny- ladykorana (From the first seconds of his intro in the first episode, I knew I was going to like and identify with him. He has so many qualities I love)
14. FAKE- Ryo- iff(IJ) (Awww, he's so easy-going and sensitive)
15. Stargate- Daniel Jackson- ladykorana & iff(IJ) (Brilliant, cute, and geeky but, oh, SO much more)
16. X-Men- Beast- x_posed_again (Hank is awesome! Strong, sensitive, highly intelligent, wise, sweet, funny, and not without his troubles/angst either)
17. The Breakfast Club- Brian- me211152004 (Yep! I love AMH's emotional scenes especially, but I definitely relate most to his character and love watching him especially)
18. Fantastic Four- Reed Richards- smokeycat_430 (I definitely have a thing for the noble, selfless, heroic, massive geek *G* the fact that it's Ioan in the movie doesn't hurt)
19. Kyle's Bed & Breakfast
20. Numb3rs- Charlie- x_posed_again (Cute and brainy- how could I resist?)
21. His Dark Materials
22. Star Trek: the next generation- Data- ladykorana (I've always been fascinated by his character and, seriously, the guy is just awesome)
23. Dinatopia- David- symphonyflute (The smart, quick-to-adjust brother who's not without his angsty, freaking-out moments or his heroic ones)
24. Heroes- Hiro- iff(IJ) & smokeycat_430 (OMG how could I not love him? He's a born hero- enthusiastic, dedicated, and desperately needs his sidekick)
25. Pirates of the Caribbean- Will Turner- ladykorana (Sexy, angsty, honorable blacksmith-turned pirate *G*)
26. The 10th Kingdom- Wolf- ladykorana (Oh yeah. Mischievous but loyal, wolfish but loving)
27. The L Word- Shane- smokeycat_430 (Apart from being the sexiest on the show, she's a fantastic character; I couldn't begin to list all the reasons I love her *G*)
28. RENT- Tom Collins- symphonyflute (MIT-smart, teacher, passionate, activist, gay, romantic, sweet, one HELL of a good singer, and- yeah- some wonderful h/c)
29. How I Met Your Mother- Ted- brigidmn (I think I like him so much because he's normal, sensible, caring, and hilarious at the same time. He compliments all the other characters so well but easily holds down the plot of the series)
30. Winnie the Pooh- Eeyore- smokeycat_430 & iff(IJ) (Eeyore's definitely my personal mascot for so many reasons)

You KNOW it's sad when you have to decide which 30 of your fandoms to pick for something like this! LOL The hardest part for me was choosing fandoms where I actually have a favorite. Some were very close calls, and some fandoms (like Weiss) I couldn't play with because I couldn't decide which would be my favorite character. There were also some like Batman that were far too obvious to include. It's also interesting how similar a lot of my favorite characters are :-) Anyway, everybody GUESS AWAY!

NOTE: I forgot to update my InsaneJournal mirror entry... I'm still getting used to this having two blogs thing. So sorry about that. Now there might be multiple names of people who guessed right for some of these :-)

Oooh lucky girl. Yeah, I ADORE the show- I never miss an episode (I've written a couple Numb3rs sneezefics, actually). And you're absolutely right about Charlie, though it's a tough one because the whole cast is so great. *G*

Legolas- one would think so, wouldn't one? He's definitely an EXTREMELY close second. Sorry legolas *pets*

Nick Knight- definitely my type- what with the do-gooding and the angst... but still not my absolute favorite

Wolverine- a great guess- he's my third favorite *G* A very tough one

Mark- again, definitely my type and pretty much tied for first with my favorite, but when I wrote up the list I picked one and only one in each fandom and I'm going to use those answers to be fair... though technically on any given day I do waffle between the character I picked and Mark.

You definitely get huge points in my book for getting so many right, and coming close with the others! I'm surprised it took people so long to say Remus!

It really was difficult to pick a favorite... but there wouldn't BE a show without Charlie. At the end of the day, I gotta love his character most. However, I probably wouldn't watch the show if the rest of the characters weren't there and so great as they are, either... *shrug* Anyway, yeah, excellent show and I agree 100% about them going all serious and gun toting *G*

Couple more guesses:

I'm guessing your favorite Dinotopia character is David. I was always partial to his brother Karl.

And Prison Break I believe you like the main character Michael, and I believe it's because you love his loyalty to his brother.

Correct on both accounts!

Karl always bugged me- he's so hot-headed and willing to do bad things to get what he wants! Of course, David bugs me for insulting him all the time and trying to tell him what to do (I'd want to keep trying to rescue my father, too). But David's so cute and smart and accepts things so easily. Plus I love watching him struggle with flying. And I love his bond with Freefall :-)

And, yes, I do love Michael's loyalty to his brother. But I also love how clever he is and how he can't stand to see people hurt (can't remember the name of that disorder he has, but as far as disorders go, that's one I like).
