Day off

I took most of the day off today from writing. Was sort of a nice change... except I've been worried about this next giffic I need to write. Tis not going well. Not going well in the way of haven't started it yet and don't have any bloody clue what to write. *sigh* Had this problem with the last Princess Bride fic, too. It's funny, since that's my favorite movie EVER. But I think it's one of those things like Highlander or Angel/Spike that is done so well that I don't feel like touching it or playing with it.

I think I'll pull the book off my bookshelf and flip through and see if I can't get inspired to come up with something. I had two sentences in my head last night before falling asleep that I thought would get me going today if nothing else. But the sentences aren't really that good so they're not doing to trick. All I've managed to do today was watch movies, heat up heating pads (gods I hate being a woman sometimes, LOL), and order a shitload of nummies from Amazon.com. Damn that 4-for-3 deal! Gets me every time! *G*

I will have another giftfic posted today, though, in keeping with my "post a story every day" strategy... and I had HOPED to be caught up tomorrow with all pre-New Year's requests... but we'll see. *crosses fingers*
