Harry Potter Fangirl
Oct. 30th, 2008 08:50 pmSome weeks I just LOVE being a Harry Potter fangirl!
First, my coworker got a package from FedEx a few days ago and opened it and looked at me and said "You're going to love me. Here." And handed me Harry, A History!!!!!!! Yes, it doesn't come out for another week or so but it's in my hands right now! Squee! I immediately read JKR's foreward and looked at all the pictures, but haven't had the time to read any more yet. I immediately went and cancelled my early order of it from Amazon.com. My very own copy of the book, in advance, for free. How cool is that?! I feel cool.
Second, I was volunteering at Kings Park library today when I hear, from across the cubicle sea, "Do you know these guys, the Remus Lupins?" I IMMEDIATELY jumped up and said something like "The Remus Lupins? I am a HUGE Wizard Rock fan!" I might have said something fangirly after that about Alex being my fake boyfriend *cough* but I'll deny saying any such thing. LOL Anyway, the coolest part is that the Remus Lupins will be... on November 16th... at MY LIBRARY! Yes! Not Kings Park, but the library that is 2 blocks from where I used to live-- my childhood library where I volunteer each Saturday morning. He's coming to MY library to be awesome! For free! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
*does special Harry Potter dance of joy*
I'm also thinking of going to PA to the Yule Ball in December. Don't know what I'd wear (I don't really own many dresses or any dress robes) but it looks like all sorts of fun. And free, too. It's in Bryn Mawr, PA in the Great Hall (no kidding, that's what it's called!)

Um... did I ever post my special HP Halloween photos? Don't think I did. Boy, you're in for a treat tomorrow! Watch out- tg is going to be a crazy fangirl again!!! heehee
And did I mention that in half a month's time The REMUS LUPINS will practically be in my backyard? SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
