Christmas Spirit
Dec. 20th, 2008 04:34 pmI got my tree and decorations from my storage unit last night. I put the tree up and decorated it while watching Santa Claus: the movie, as is my annual routine. It looks pretty. Will post a picture later.
Tonight my cousin (who I've seen three times in my whole life, despite the fact that he now lives about 30 minutes away) and his wife (they just got married in Sept, so I've never met her) are coming to dinner. Should be interesting and probably awkward, but nice. And then all of us (my parents, cousin & wife, sister & her boyfriend, and me) are going to go drive around Northern Virginia and look at a few spectacular light displays. Sites #13 and #14 are my favorite: http://www.fairfaxchristmaslights.com/tcl.php
Tomorrow we might get snow & ice. I'm hoping so since we haven't really had snow at all this year and I do love a good snowstorm. I kind of want to go check out a book sale tomorrow before the storm strikes... we'll see what happens.
PS- I'm totally enjoying these old X-Men episode repeats. I saw maybe 20 different episodes when it was on the first time when I was young- and I saw the Phoenix Saga a gazillion times. But now I can appreciate the episodes properly and completely and see many more of them. Plus, now I've seen both Wolverine and Gambit sneeze. YAY!
