One Minute to Midnight- Need Fic Help!

Well, I posted the beginning of 'One Minute to Midnight' on sneezefic tonight. (title is another HL episode- though it took a while to decide on a title- I might have called it Rite of Passage or The Hunters or a few others, but this one seemed to fit all right) ANYWAY, I'm asking for help with it.

I've got a few ideas about where the passageway in the story goes, but I would really like to open it up for suggestions. If you have an idea, send me an e-mail, reply post, or leave it as a reply here. I will pick my favorite(s) and then write the ending(s). I'm planning to write at least 3 endings, but that depends on how many suggestions I get. I'd like to do all of them! Er, assuming people give me suggestions!
If you've got strong feelings for/against slash & sex, mention that as well, and if I pick your ending I'll work that in or leave it out and keep it to kissing. I don't want to follow a suggestion and then have someone not be able to read the ending because it squicks them. :-)

THANKS! I thought this would be a little more interactive and more exciting than me simply picking and going with my current uncreative ideas (which is what I'll do if no one suggests anything!)

First of all, I want to say that stories about Remus/Sirius don't usually do much for me. I don't know if it's because I've been so fixated on other fandoms (read: sneezy Elves!), or because when I read/watch HP, I generally focus on Harry because he's just so darn adorable and makes me want to give him a big hug!

Anyway, a funny thing happened when I read the start of your new story. Either because I just reread 'Prisoner of Azkaban', or because of your expressive writing style, I found myself totally enjoying this fic! The sneezes were delicious (I'm a sucker for big build-ups and struggling to hold them back), and I really got into the mystery of where this mysterious tunnel could go. My mind just took off, and I came up with several ideas that maybe you might find interesting:

--A secret alcove allowing them to spy on the Slytherin common room(and allow easy access for pranks!)
--A store-room of items confiscated from former students
--A private garden magically hidden from the rest of the grounds (maybe Dumbledore's secret relaxation/retreat spot?), full of allergens, naturally! ;)
--Underground access to the Quidditch stadium
--House-elf quarters/meeting room/etc.
--An empty room to use as a secret Marauder hideout and/or private place for romantic encounters

Feel free to use any or none of the above as you see fit. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Part of me really likes the wicked irony of it leading back almost to their starting spot as you suggested already...

P.S. Slash or no slash makes no difference to me, though I generally prefer fics that stay away from explicit sexual details unless it's a pure PWP.

And I know just what you mean about HP. I think I choose characters like Remus and Sirius to write about because I NEVER feel like I do Harry any justice when I write stories with him. I love him to death, but he's actually such a deep. complex character that I never really feel I do a good enough job with him. So I focus on others... maybe that's why this darn Ron fic has taken off the way it has, too? :-)

Actually, the first part of the story has a lot less sneezing now that I look back on it. But the sniffling and build-ups and trying to restrain himself is so constant that the lack of sneezes isn't really that noticable. So I'm glad you liked, even if it wasn't really your thing from the start. I'm REALLY looking forward to playing with some of your ideas. Nice to see a few of them meshed with my own ideas as well, so things are good. The first thing I came up with was the Slytherins of course... then the empty room (well, maybe there's a bed there). But it's funny you mentioned the house elves because I'd thought the very same thing- wondering where they must live/sleep and all that. So you've given me a LOT to play with *G* THANK YOU!!! :-)
