tarotgalBoyfriend and I just went out to get second dinner for Hardees (I sound like a Hobbit) and I was driving. As we passed the graveyard (which is a block down from our apartment complex) I saw movement and thought it was a dog- there was a dog running around the graveyard yesterday.
Anyway, turns out to be a deer. So I stop well away from it to let it cross the road- only then did I notice it was a whole group of deer. FIVE of them all together, and they all crossed in front of us, one by one. Then I drove on slowly, and a SIXTH one jumps out so as not to be left behind and crosses in front of the car. I've NEVER seen that many deer around here at one time- let alone at 3am!! Usually we see groups of 2 or 3 at dusk around here, but SIX in the middle of the night?! It was fantastic!!! And I made sture to drive extra slowly just in case while we passed through there on the way back. :-) It was a really lovely experience :-)
