Bad: After Maxwell kitty finished his sub-q fluids last week, I promised him no more vet for a long time. But then on Saturday evening, he couldn't open his eyes and there was white discharge from them. He was better on Sunday, but only because he washed his face more. So I took him to the vet yesterday. He apparently has conjunctivitis and possibly Herpes or a virus or something. He is SO pissed with us; every time he sees me he runs away from me (he does NOT like taking pills). And so now I have to squirt gel in his eyes twice a day and this morning he rubbed his eyes a lot after getting it, which isn't good. So tonight we put a cone on him. Oh boy. He was not a fan of that either. He kept shaking and freaking out and got so worked up he started gagging (he lost more than a pound thanks to his reacting badly to the penicillin so getting sick again was NOT what I wanted to have happen). After an hour, I took the cone off him. I hope that's enough time for the medicine to kick in a little. Oh boy, I'm looking forward to doing this for the next 13 days *sigh* It was awful, because today he just started warming up to me again, and now he's off hiding somewhere. Poor Maxwell baby. But at least now he can open his eyes.

Good: I just came up with a great Sweetie/Jamie story.

Bad: I'm not sure how to make time to write it. I feel so behind and useless.

Good: I finished my video project for the current HPA Campaign yesterday and am extremely proud of it, even though there are some obvious flaws and cheesy moments. There were lots of things I thought about discussing, but half of them made me cry, which isn't necessarily the way to get my point across. I might write a blog post about it, though.
