tarotgalAm watching Stargate SG-1 episode "Meridian". I know what happens to my boy, but it still kills me every time. Oh gods. Now I'm on the next episode and Sam just picked up his glasses. Damn these shows for making me fall in love with characters. Poor SG-1 *hugs*
Life is stressful (but a fun stressful). Brickfair is in 2 days and my main MOC is NOT ready. I'm kind of worried and freaking out. But my business cards arrived in time (YAY) so I'll have enough to put in the Harry Potter Hallows & Horcruxes business card holder I made. I built a really pretty Quidditch pitch that I'm now destroying, because it's set during book 7. Is kind of sad to do.
My sister just broke up with her boyfriend again. This time, it seems like it's for good. They've broken up... something like 10 times in the last few years. It's one of those "I love you and I'll take you back, but you have to change and then he doesn't change because people are incapable of changing THAT much." But it's sad for all of us, 'cause we like the guy, too. He lived with us for half a year or so. My mom feels like she's lost a son. And my sister is devistated but she (and we all, including the now ex-boyfriend) think she did the right thing in ending it finally. But it's tough.
My father had a stress test last week and they saw something on one of the monitors so he has to go back for an echocardiogram next week. We're all a little worried about that, but the fast that they said the test could wait a week and a half isn't a bad sign. We did the math and apparently our cat, Sugar, has had more echocardiograms than everyone else in our immediate family combined. LOL
Saturday is a Carpe Geekdom concert. I'm going to miss some fun parts of Brickfair because of it, but I'll still have fun. I actually donated lots of money to them for their tour, enough for them to write me a song. I sent in my request today. I'm really excited. What other chance will I ever get for someone to write me my very own song? Apart from maybe bribing Snidget with a new ukulele or something. But she's a Gryffindor and probably not all that bribeable by Hufflepuff means.
