Tonight I went to the Dollar Store that's in the town where I work (as opposed to the one near where I live), knowing that they had Anastasia movie trading card packs. I was kind of craving some to use when I make Artist Trading cards on swap-bot... and because I freakin LOVE that movie so very, very much. The Dollar Store near me has a box of them but no actual packs in that box (only Hunchback of Notre Dame). At this one, though, there were dozens and dozens of them. So I bought a couple.

As the kid behind the counter was ringing up my purchases, he shakes his head and says "Well, I lost a bet." Yeah. He bet someone at the store they'd never sell a single one of them and here I was buying several. So, yeah. I'm not bothered that a Dollar Store employee a decade younger than me is judging me for my random fangirlings, because Anastasia was a kickass movie and my crush on Dimitri knows no bounds. But I am embarrassed that is was something people had bet on because it was so pathetic. LOL

I don't care, though. They're seriously awesome cards *loves* I just thought it was hilarious.

Pfff. That movie is awesome. Of course, selling Valentines for a movie that came out in 1997 is a bit strange. Most of the kids who exchange Valentines hadn't even be born yet!

Haha, that's funny, because I just bought a copy of Anastasia on DVD on Thursday. I found it in a bargain bin and couldn't believe my luck!

Yay! That was one of the very first DVDs I bought when I got a Playstation 2/DVD player. It's so good!

LOL Sam sleeping (even if he's injured) is not the most spoiler-filled icon, given that I have no way of knowing why he's injured or sleeping. So no worries. Plus I'm a third of the way through Season 3 now!

Ah ha, trading cards! Yes, they have a strange selection. I bought a pack of Hunchback of Notre Dame ones last time I was at my dollar store.
