12 Days of Fics/Ficlets- Requests

This is it! I'm going to do another 12 fics in 12 days thing. If you want a fic, you'll need to follow the instructions below and not expect brilliance :-) This year has been kind of a wash for me (can I get a do-over?), but I hope gift fic awesomeness will end it with a bang and usher in a good new year.

So what do you need to do?
Be one of the first 12 to post a reply to this post on my IJ or my LJ! Fill out this form with what you'd like--

Limitations:
It's got to be original character fic or a fandom I'm really familiar with. I can't do really obscure things that require research & extensive source material reviewing because I won't have time for that. I can't do elaborate situations either if I'm writing one for every day. So keep your requests short and sweet (but as specific as you want within that scope). Again, please don't expect brilliance from me :-)
If I reply and say I just can't write what you want and I need you to pick something else, you won't lose your "spot". But you should suggest something else within a reasonable period of time.

Fandoms I'll write:
Any fandom I've written for before is technically fair game, but I can tell you right now I'm going to struggle to write another fic in a couple of those fandoms. And I can assure you that if you request something slashy in one of my major fandoms (or Strokes) I will LOVE you for making it easy on me. Feel free to ask if I know a particular fandom.

Fandom(or OC): I know you’ve done Marvel, including Captain America. Do you think Avengers is doable? If not, I can pick a different one.

Characters and/or Pairings: I like all of the characters, and pairing wise nothing jumps out. Gen, het, slash. What have you.

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): I like the way characters interact, so just not poor Clint by his lonesome in his own little ficlet.

Oh gosh, yeah, I think I could write Avengers! I'm making my parents watch the movie tonight, so I'll be super inspired :-) I've never written Clint... but I think I could handle that. He's fun to pick on, given his mere mortal status among the Avengers (did you see the Saturday Night Live sketch?). It'll probably be Gen as I don't ship Clint with anyone right now (I've read some Bruce/Clint and didn't hate it, but I'm not sure it's my Clint OTP heehee).

So, yes, totally doable. I'm excited about tackling it!

As for what I'd like back, I absolutely would not say no to an Iron Man/Cap sneezefic. Or Iron Man/Cap/Wolverine, as they're my favorite pairing and I feel like I'll never read a sneezefic with them if I don't write it myself! Honestly, pretty much any of the pretty pretty Avengers with a head cold would be lovely. Okay, maybe not the Hulk in Hulk form, but I do dig Bruce. But I'd adore Tony/Steve/Logan. I'm just sayin'.

I can definitely do Iron Man/Cap, but I am not confident enough to with my Marvel knowledge mix comics (or as they are known to me, movies). Who are we torturing here?

My Marvel canon is completely and utterly screwed up anyway. I take characters from all the different shows and movies and timelines and a few comics as well. So there's absolutely no worry about not venturing out of the Avengers movie-verse.

As for who to torture... doesn't matter to me. I would adore a sneezy Cap and Tony kind of germaphobic/busy but still wanting to fuss and make his Cap feel better somehow. But it would also be a lot of fun for Tony to get overworked and sick and Jarvis bugging him to rest so often he turns Jarvis off. And maybe that compromises security in the tower and Cap ends up needing to save his butt because Tony's to weak for the suit to work? Or maybe Cap just manages to slide in under the radar for some sneaky, sweet caregiving? Seriously, whoever you'd prefer to torture would be awesome. I like 'em both and both have a lot of fic potential :-)

I really hope this isn't one of those fandoms that would be a struggle for you, because you do it so fantastically well, and I just miss the boys...but here goes:

Fandom: Torchwood
Pairing: Jack/ianto
Specs: hmmm....can't picture anything here that wouldn't be awesome. Authors choice? Oh! I know! Let's throw the hub into lockdown while we are at it. :)
This fandom totally changed the way I ship, and read fic, so I don't think I have anything anymore that counts as a squick. Just wanna say thanks for the stories you write. I'm delurking to say that I have enjoyed them for years!

I originally wanted to ask about a TFIOS fic, but then I thought there was enough illness in that fic. In my search to find out whether you have read TFIOS I discovered your favourite book by John Green is Looking For Alaska, my second favourite John Green book. Feel free to tell me if this is not something you think you can do.

Characters and/or Pairings: Pudge, The Colonel, and maybe Alaska (not romantically though)
Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): I'd like to see Pudge with a cold

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Pudge dealing with being sick away from home. It can be set in the "Before" part of the book or the "After" part of the book.

Hmmmmm. Actually, after I read Looking for Alaska, I had a strong urge to write a sneezefic with Pudge & the Colonel. But the book is so good I didn't think I could do the characters justice. I'd certainly be willing to give it a try.

I definitely don't think I could do a TFIOS fic. Too soon. The emotions are too raw and deep. I still tear up a little when I hear "Okay." But if I set the LfA fic in Before, I think I could emotionally handle it. Though I think my original bunny was in the beginning of After (grief = unable to fight off a cold bug). I'll see what I can come up with!

By the way, I reread my prompt again and noticed that I made it sound like I don't want Alaska to be romantically involved with Pudge. What I should have wrote was: Pudge/Alaska and The Colonel.

I'm not sure I could survive these twelve fics without an appearance from Marcus/Oliver! I'm writing a fic right now with them in an arguement, so it'll be nice to write something slightly lighter (or at least, with an anticipated amount of less yelling).
