I hope you like this. It's my first time ever writing Clint or this set of Avengers, and it went dangerously close to... well, not quite maudlin, but probably more introspective than Clint normally is. I don't know. He doesn't say much; maybe he is actually a deep thinker. Anyway, I hope it's all right, albeit a bit rough. Give me ten more fics and I'm sure I'll have the characters down better ;-) Happy holidays, sweetie!

I really enjoyed this. Poor Clint not having real superpowers like most everyone else on the team. I liked that Bruce was kind trying to help by pointing out Natasha was like him and could get sick but her not letting him point that out. And then Tony actually being nice and coming and sharing a few moments with Clint. Yay. I am happy. :-)

Speaking of Bruce, you wrote Brice instead of Bruce once in the small paragraph right after Steve is watching Seinfeld (which was also cute). I just noticed because a kid I babysat for was named Brice...

Bah! Thanks for catching the typo. My keyboard is over at my new house and I haven't gotten the hang of this laptop keyboard yet. I'm surprised it wasn't filled with hundreds of typos. I have to re-type about 20% of words I type... which might be another reason I'm not further ahead on these giftfics. LOL

I'm glad you liked it! They have a good dynamic, this set of Avengers. And, yeah, Natasha would definitely not own up to any weaknesses, not even for Clint's sake. Honestly, I feel like Tony, bored out of his mind, would almost certainly invade Clint's bedroom and cause a little havoc if given the chance ;-)

Congrats, you've gotten me to read my first fic in this fandom!

It was cute and funny, and quite enjoyable. Thor cracked me up. His movie was my favorite, because I'm all over the epic stuff with kingdoms and princes and mythology, and he's tall and built so nicely and has fantastic hair. But tactful...not so much, LOL. Though he is cute when he doesn't get a reference.

Loved the twist with sick Tony at the end. I should have seen that coming, but nope. :)

This was fabulous! I don't think he was too maudlin at all. In fact, I think everyone's characterization was perfect. My favorite was Natasha She's my favorite avenger (and my girl crush, lol) so I love seeing her characterized well.

And I loved Clint's thoughts during the whole episode. They were exactly what I would have been thinking if I was the one avenger who could get sick

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic! Thor is so easy on the eyes and is fun to play with, though usually in my head he's bored and off saving the world whenever drama pops up in the tower. I am not certain I can handle so many characters all together (five might be my limit LOL). But I'm glad you liked his appearance here!

You totally should have seen sick!Tony coming, but I'm glad it was a surprise to you! I feel like a bored & restless & slightly out of it Tony is far more dangerous than the regular version, especially with a co-conspirator. I had to end the fic before they unintentionally blew up the tower *G*

Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! I did edit out a few sentences with Hawkeye getting a bit too angsty about Tony not wanting him to be part of the Avengers (in the comics, he had to prove himself bigtime before Tony let him in, so I was playing with that as an undertone here). I'm glad it wasn't too much.

Poor Clint, all perfectly human and vulnerable. I like the idea that he doesn't "have a cold" so much as he's "fighting a cold" though. Seems more Avengery somehow.

Anyway, you're so very welcome! I'm glad my first attempt at the Avengers wasn't too bad!
