My Christmas

tarotgalI hope everyone who celebrates Christmas had an excellent one. I celebrated with my family in the morning/early afternoon then headed over to my new house to open presents from friends. I enjoyed the time alone, celebrating my very first Christmas in my new place, before heading back for dinner. I got lots of things I really wanted for my place--a digital scale, a coat rack, a mitten/hat drying stand, some new towels, a fruit bowl with banana holder, a frying pan, a digital camera, NCIS Season 9 (LOL you didn't think I was completely off the fangirling, did you?). And thanks to my fandom friends, I've got a TARDIS hat, Marauder's map & wand necklace, an SPN necklace and matching keychain, a Joss Whedon book, and some new Eeyore PJs. We watched Hot Rod during dinner (my sister got it for Christmas on DVD) which you wouldn't think was a very Christmas-y movie, but Scrooge did pop up at the end LOL. And we all laughed a lot; as a fan of 80s music, I enjoyed the soundtrack, even though the inspirational scene in the middle made me think of Merlin & Arthur for a while.
