Happy Halloween... and Oops!

tarotgalHappy Halloween, everybody! Hope it's a fun one for everybody. It just started sprinkling here; hope that doesn't keep the kids away.
Had a busy day... and skipped work altogether (oops). Had my stomach emptying nuclear medicine test today. Thank GOODNESS they offered me oatmeal; they said scrambled eggs on the phone and I didn't say anything about that, but they they gave me a choice of oatmeal flavors instead-woot! They forgot to tell me how long the test was going to be (or they didn't tell me on purpose) but I lay there for a little over an hour and a half.
I had a splitting headache, probably from not eating or drinking in so long, so I went straight home and took care of that. Then I went and got my allergy shots. Then I went and got my flu shot. All that and I got home just in time for the first wave of trick-or-treaters. So far, I've had about 20. Not too bad!
Am nervous about NaNoWriMo tonight. I haven't written anything in ages. Feels like I fell off a wagon and it won't stop long enough for me to jump back on. But maybe this will force the words out of me. And I know once I start, it'll be like riding a bicycle. Except without the part where the brakes fail and I put my foot down to stop and get thrown off and scrape myself up badly. Been there, done that already. My motto should be: h/c is the best, unless it's happening to me. LOL
Ooohh another wave of trick-or-treaters. I totally spaz out every time the doorbell rings. LOL
As for the actual oops... (and not the object-oriented programming kind) I may have accidentally created a new blog. I know, right? I can't keep up with ANY of the blogs I have. I have absolutely no business with a new one! But it seems to have happened. I'm probably going live with it tomorrow... seems appropriate to do that at the beginning of a month, right?
Just had another almost dozen. Now I am GLAD for buying extra candy! It's the girl scout in me. Or the worrier. Or something...
