I just made a Highlander, Forever Knight, and Lord of the Rings video to the song 'Immortality'. It's, well, not one of my better ones, but had an interesting result. There's some Gimli/Legolas slash implied as well. OK, maybe stronger than implied. LOL

Point is, there's a part of my second favorite Forever Knight episode that I used in the vid- where Nick crashes through a window/mirror (supposed to symboloze the breaking of his looking glass fake reality) and every time I saw the scene as I edited, all I could shout was "beyond the veil!" *sigh* I really don't know how to feel about Order of the Phoenix but it seems to hold a top spot in my mind, whatever I do.

On another note, I finished chapter 3 of my x-men story finally :-) I will run through it once editing then post tonight. And 'Giving' (LotR fic) is getting interesting. The three boys just woke up in bed together. LOL I knew I shouldn't have just let the story go where it wanted! And I'm really trying not to make Legolas into a little elf slut, even if he is technically having sex with both Aragorn and Gimli through the scope of this story. Really... not slut!Legolas... okay... maybe a little... but I am trying! lol

'Giving' sounds fantastic! *g* I don't think Legolas automatically qualifies for Elf!Slut just because he's with Aragorn and Gimli - does Aragorn qualify as Ranger!Slut because he's been with both Arwen and Legolas? *g* Of course, I don't know exactly what you're alluding to, so if this makes no sense you can just ignore me. But I can't wait to read 'Giving'!!! *bg*

Nope, you make perfect sense. And in my mind, it's actually very clear and defined as far as sexual boundaries. I sort of drew the "no more sex with Aragorn" line in 'Cherishing'.

Basically... I've got Gimli/Legolas in present day and Aragorn/Legolas in all the many flashbacks... and all three of them sneezing at one time or another. But, yeah, I sort of defined the boundaries... so I guess it's not too bad. I am trying to keep Legolas' naughty actions to a minimum, however there are still quite a lot. LOL

And your comment about Aragorn being with both Leg and Arwen is perfect and most reassuring to me! Thank you! Although, Ranger!Slut Aragorn sounds highly delicious...

You'll enjoy the flashbacks then... I'm taking out my "beautiful sex" urges in those... graphically on some occasions. I really do like the look of the two of them a lot... even if I've completely submitted to believing G/L during&after the War of the Ring.

I'm SO psyched to read this fic, TG! I don't consider Legolas an elf-slut...but if he was, that'd certainly make for some very lovely mental images! I'm also intrigued by how you come up with ways for all 3 of them to sneeze ;)

I could write on and on, but i need to be up for work in only a coupel hours, and I've been sick with some nasty cold/sinus thing all weekend, so I need some sleep. But first, I just wanted to comment on your vid...it sounds fascinating. I'd love to see it. That's a lovely song to do a vid to...very appropriate for those charactes as well.

I actually have an SG-1 vid on my computer done to the same song. It was made shortly after the announcement that Daniel was to be 'let go' was released. The vid made me cry...so touching and beautiful. I'm not sure where I got it from, but I'll try and locate it again for you, if you wish.
