Interesting day

Had an interesting day... though nothing much happened. Ever have those? Anyway...
Went to Walmart and got my van an oil/lube job. I don't really know what that means (what actaully gets lubricated? I don't know the first thing about cars) and got air in my tires- yay! They gave me a free air cleaner sample and some free samples of glass cleaner. My first thought was: YAY! Free stuff! But then I started wondering maybe they were implying that my car smelled and was dirty? *shrugs*
I got a laser pointer for $6 at target. It's for my cat. Boyfriend just got one for his cat, upon recommendation of the people who cat sitted for us and bought one for their own cat. So, like, everyone I know has a laser pointer as a cat toy right now. You just have to be careful they don't look directly into the pointer when it's on (i.e. turn it off) but the cats LOVE it. Boyfriend's cat especially goes nuts. Mine's too smart and starts to paw at the pointer after a while rather than the dot it makes on the floor. heehee.
My cat's got a new nickname though: sith cat. He is CONSTANTLY trying to pull down my episode 1 poster. I repeatedly tell him to leave Obi & Qui alone but does he obey? NO! My poor Jedi...
Also bought Dead Poet's Society (widescreen) on DVD at Target. I couldn't resist. And I felt kind of silly paying for a $6 item with my credit card... so twas a good excuse to buy it.
My best friend picked up the pottery we painted when we were up in NY. I just got mine today- oh my GOSH it looks fabulous!!! I'm so impressed with the vibrance of color and the nice glossy finish! I'm proud of my little voltive candle holder that looks like a fishbowl. LOL
I came close to buying a stuffed animal Padfoot today at Target. He was $10 and slightly smaller than one I already have... but I chickened out. I dunno. I want to find one with "pale" eyes... whatever that means... but it doesn't mean black and dark maroon which is what this one's eyes were. What I REALLY want is a nice Moony wolf to go with the existing dog... I might buy one online, I've had NO success in stores. They sell elephants and turtles and horses and tigers and lions and bears... but no wolves! What's up with that?! *shrugs*
I'd LOVE to find a nice stag (that doesn't look like a feminine bambi) I have a really nice silver deer candleholder that reminds me of Harry's patronus... but it'd be nice to have a whole plush marauder set(I've got a HP-authorized Scabbers/Wormtail already)- it'd be even nicer to have them in scale, though that might be hard with the stag. Um. I need to get a life, huh? LOL
Boyfriend just called... wants sex... I must bow to his wishes even though he ditched me last night LOL I just wish my hip would pop back into place... growl... yeah... tis an interesting day.
I've thought a LOT about Snape since last night's thinking about OotP... I'm starting to believe I don't know him even half as well as I thought... more later...
