Bad pics

Just thought I'd share *G*
I caved and bought a stuffed wolf online last night... just got the word that it was shipping today *G* I'm veeeeeery happy. I hope it turns out to be as good as the online picture.

I have a few pics of my current ones... but they're not very good pictures at all. So I'll steal my boyfriend's digital camera again and take better ones when I get the new Moony.

Padfoot attacks Moony with a hug on top of my DVD collection (as it was many months ago, LOL It's rather sad to see how much it's expanded since...) They, er, have been in slightly more compromising positions over the months I've had them...


This is what's above me right now as I look up from this computer. I'm a bit of an Eeyore freak, mind. Anyway, its Padfoot holding and chewing on Wormtail, if you can't tell from the bad picture.

Yeah... my decorating style is throw everything everywhere. But my roommate and I used to keep beaniebabies on top of our monitors as tradition, so I jut kept that up. My mom used to give them to me and my sister on Christmas and Easter but she'd always have good reasons connected to each, so they're all pretty special to me rather than just a collection.

My girls at the elementary school play a game every year where they use beanie babies as the items they move around the game board from space to space... they're always impressed with my choices when I bring in the ones for them to choose from LOL (note to self: little girls love dolphins and horses...)heehee

Yeah, like I said, the pictures are bad. I'll take some much better ones next time. Remus/Moony is actually exactly like I picture him- amber eyes and all. And padfoot is a *little* more black lab than scruffy dog... but not a bad representation either. I'll try to get some better pics though :-)

Nah, they're bad. They were just to finish off a roll of film so I didn't really care how they turned out and how much detail came out. I'll do better in the future :-)

I totally understand. When I moved into my dormroom the one summer, I brought very little with me as well. So I went out and bought a bunch of new posters to cover the walls with. LOL But I bet if you do get a roommate that the space will fill up in no time.

LOL You'd be surprised at some of the things that get displayed in dorn rooms... or maybe not... my college has the largest single gender (male) dorm at a public school on the east coast(at least it was 4 years ago)... and there were some VERY scary things in there... blow-up dolls in the hallways... neon sex signs (some with large-breasted women in profile) in windows... beer bottle pyramids(and yeah, mine's a dry campus)... I doubt a life-size elf would have been anything more than a funny thing to talk about with their security buds later that day :-)

LOL! Not insane! I was actually considering a few days ago buying cardboard figures of my favorite fanfic pairings and placing them around my apartment for inspiration... then I realize that was really walking the sanity border...LOL!
(Though really, who wouldn't want to come home to a nice Obi-Wan standing with his Qui-Gon? lol)

And well, see, it will be a nice homecoming for you when you return and he's there in your room to greet you :-) So it all works out.
