I need fic-writing help!!!

So... I'm batting around ideas for NaNo this year. The smart thing to do would be for me to either:
1. Do NaNoRebel again and start taking requests for giftfics so I can put the wordcount goal to good use
or
2. Do NaNoRebel again this year with a new project where I would take requests for fics in exchange for donations for the Walk to End HIV (which is what they've renamed the AIDS Walk to here in DC). But I feel weird about making y'all pay. I thought about putting together some sort of Indiegogo-type thing where I could make fandom crafts or fanfic in exchange for donations.

But, in my heart, what I really want to do is:
3. Do NaNoRebel and work on my YA demon hunter novel and write a new fanfic series. I would love to write something sneeze-heavy and really long with a plot/concept or full of tons of short sections/chapters... something like the Before & After series I wrote last year or the Star Wars virus fic I wrote years ago.

The problem is... I HAVE NO IDEAS.

Okay, that's not entirely true. I came up with a cute idea for a fic where Dean gets turned into a dog and had it all worked out in my mind, and then realized there's an episode in Season 9 (which I haven't watched yet) where that happens, kind of. Not anything like what I'd had in mind, but still. Crap. Plus there wasn't any sneezing in my idea anyway, so forget that.

I really want to write a long sneezefic, whether it's a series or not. I'd love it to be either SPN or Marvel, because that's where my muses seem to live right now (I wouldn't say no to a kickass Spander idea right now either though), and I know I'll be jumping around among fandoms come giftfic season anyway. But I don't have any ideas for a long series/concept. And I'm starting to panic. I need an idea. Something big. Something that will get me writing tens of thousands of words without blinking. Something that will be FUN. And I've got nothing. I have ideas for short fics. But nothing big. I want big. I want big story or series of short stories. And I want sneezing potential. Soooooo much of it.

Anyone have a plot bunny or two I can adopt? Please help a gal out???

Oh wow. I just read somewhere that Jensen would love to play Indiana Jones, if they were going to ever remake that series. Although he also didn't know how they would improve upon perfection or some such.
So I would love a young Sam and Dean in the Indiana Jones setting. Jeffery would make an excellent substitute for Sean as Jones Sr. As for the sneezing I can't think of a more sneeze inducing environment than this world.

Ah, National Novel Writing Month. Even when you have ideas, it's hard to say if you'll have enough words. My deepest sympathies.

Disclaimer: I am not up to date on the Marvelverse, but I've absorbed a lot through fandom osmosis and I do read fic on occasion, so...

What about a collection of short stories that jump from character to character in the Marvelverse, featuring a mission/day in the life where they encounter something that makes them sneeze? There are a lot of ways you could play with that;

*Have the stories interconnect by having the character who stars in the next chapter play a large part in the first chapter (Captain America is the focus in Chapter 1, Hawkeye is his partner on the mission, then Hawkeye is the focus of Chapter 2).

*Try to somehow thematically connect or foreshadow what's going to take place in the next chapter (The mission Captain America and Hawkeye fight in has repercussions that affect what happens to Hawkeye in his chapter, or Hawkeye mentions an allergy of his that comes into play in Chapter 2).

*Challenge yourself by coming up with a different reason for characters to be sneezing in each chapter. And then you could mix and match by having characters reappear in other chapters suffering from their particular allergy. And then you could end the story with a bang by having all the characters get sick and just have this huge pile of sneezing superheroes.

*Open it up to every Marvel character you like, from Avengers to X-Men to the Fantastic Four (and I wouldn't say no to a Reed chapter, not in the least). That could probably get you at least a dozen chapters.

Everything I could offer is the wrong fandoms. I'm currently Musketeer fixated but there really isn't much of anything out there for sneeze fics.
I've watched a couple of Supernatural episodes. I feel like I missing a lot, I'll need to go back to Netflix.

Okay...two things. First off, I signed onto the NaNo website for November to get moving on my non-fanfic book. I thought of you when a friend sent me the link, because I remember you mentioning it in your journal. I figured if it was something you did, it's most likely a good thing. :)

Secondly...this was an idea for a story I had and am super surprised no one has written it. I think it'd make for a good long story that could be sneeze-centric if that's what you really want. It would be an SPN case-fic, so in my idea, it'd have to be plot-focused.

So you know of Dean's allergy in the show. I would imagine that extends to werecats. So maybe go with a casefic involving werecats, where they can't figure out what's causing Dean to have these allergic reactions in various settings around various people. You can add in a cold which would make the allergy more difficult to discover. You could have him in a werecat den. O.O Etc.

I had planned on writing that fic in my AU, but never got around to it. I may still, but since it'd be in my AU, and yours would not, then we'd get two awesome sneezing Dean stories.

I know illness is more your thing, but an illness only runs for so long. An undiscovered allergy could go on and on and on, hence making your story longer and when meshed with plot...then it's really part of the story instead of something just shoved in there.
