I have more than enough to do two lists… possibly even three
Here are some of the fandom-related LEGO creations that caught my eye this year at my local LEGO convention, Brickfair VA. Clickity-click the photos for larger versions.
Top Ten Ten Fandom Creations at Brickfair (part 1)
- Thor’s Hammer (or at least Kevin’s)
I actually didn’t get a good photo of this, but I couldn’t leave it off the list. So this is the great Kevin Hinkle’s photo.
- Bring it On Down To…
Two of Justin Timberlake’s iconic and hilarious Saturday Night Live sketches. Hilarious and inspired! What better use for Hog Dog Guy is there? NONE!

- Rabbit of Caerbannog
It has sharp, pointy teeth! Also, I love that its cave entrance home is shaped like a rabbit.

- Bill & Fleur’s Wedding
A younger builder made this for the Love category this year. It’s Bill & Fleur’s wedding from Harry Potter at the Burrow… with a TARDIS hanging out in the corner. LOL

- Stargate Atlantis
The gate AND the city of Atlantis! Lovely detail.
- Throne
Okay, Game of Thrones is not one of my fandoms, but I can still appreciate this clever and lovely throne.
- Clone Trooper Helmet
Inside this life-sized clone trooper helmet is a clone trooper diorama! How creative is that?

- Batcave 2.0
Gorgeous and huge Batcave. I especially loved the light features illuminating each suit along the wall.

- Link’s Sword
Amazing life-sized sword from the Legend of Zelda.
- Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Every Brickfair there seems to be a surprise MOC that blows me out of the water and makes me squeal. This year, it was this beautiful depiction of Chitty.
