I think you had Day 9 last year as well! Maybe it's a lucky number for you? I didn't have too much to go on here... so I kind of went all over the place with it. WHY is it whenever I try to write something for you without a plot, one sneaks in? Every single darn time! LOL I hope you like it regardless of the silly plot. "Worst cold ever", be still my heart! More like "Best fic ever!" Or at least way way up there!

So very much sneezing! Such a miserable Sammy! Plot was just enough to make Sammy that little bit worse off, so it was perfect. I liked the Vetala too, so yay.

My favorite part for sure is the opening scene in the motel room. I love how Sam is just totally flattened by this cold to the point of no one even trying to deny it. It was an interesting twist that the struggle wasn't to pretend he was fine, but to try and keep from infecting Dean instead. Lol good luck!

Love all the details like the soft handkerchief and hoodie, Jess turning into a ringing phone, the cabbie offering to take Sam to a hospital instead.

The coming full circle to "next time I'm just getting you sick too so we can both crash in peace" was a fantastic cap off to it all! Thanks so much for this wonderfully indulgent fic written with so little to go on in the way of prompting from me!
