AHHHHHHHHHHHH! That moment when you’re marathoning Poirot episodes and suddenly realize that Archie Kennedy, Apollo Adama, and Jake Malloy are all the same actor. OMG MY MIND IS BLOWN

It was the glasses, with Jake. I didn’t recognize him with the glasses.

A poor excuse. But OMG! I feel so silly for not realizing this earlier.

I had a weird moment like that the other day. I've seen Avatar:the Last Airbender series several times and I only realized yesterday that the big bad, Fire Lord Ozai, is voiced by none other than Mark Hamill.
As I'm rather deep into Luke fangirl mode right now, my mind was kinda blown. I mean, I knew Mark did lots of voice work, but I never even suspected.

I haven't seen Avatar: tLA and didn't know Mark Hamill voiced a character there, though I knew he did a ton of voice acting. Don't feel too bad!

Identifying actors when they're voice acting is tricky. Sometimes just the right word triggers something and I immediately know. Other times, I can get through the whole movie and still have no idea. That happens a lot when I'm watching dubbed Studio Ghibli movies. I recently watched The Wind Rises and at the end I was like, "Wait, Joseph Gordon-Levitt? William H. Macy? Martin Short? Mandy Patinkin? ELIJAH WOOD????" I failed so hard. But, to be fair, I was concentrating on the story and animation.

Oh, and Darren Criss. Nope. Totally had no idea.
