Calling in Cat?
Mar. 26th, 2016 10:27 amI'm supposed to go to work today but there have been two cats on my lap in the span of an hour. Charlie came and kneaded and suckled for a while then jumped down to find a spot of sun in the living room. Now Cassie's on my lap and has gone from purring to playing to sleeping. She fell asleep playing with my SPN sweatshirt, in fact, in mid-play just like a little kitten. So I just don't have the heart to wake her up yet. But I need to get to work soon. Leaving for our annual conference Monday at 5-bloody-thirty in the morning and it's going to be an intense week. I've got a ton of work to do... but cat! You see my problem?
You know the slogan: Always Keep Napping!

Last night was awful. I have had a headache all week (allergies?) and last night I felt so sick to my stomach after dinner I switched into panic mode. I probably would have felt better if I'd just... but I didn't let myself. I ended up curling up on the couch and trying to sleep it off. Which worked, except I had weird dreams because the TV was on and I ended up waking up at 3am then hauling myself upstairs to bed. So I already feel kind of off today. But definitely not nauseated, and that's a HUGE improvement.
