Directions:
1. Post prompts. Any fandom (original fic allowed as well) and any pairing, as long as there is potential sneezing involved from a male character. There is no limit to how many prompts you can post.
2. Please warn for anything current that might be potentially spoilery! (I haven't seen all of Season 10 of Supernatural yet, so PLEASE try not to spoil me!)
3. Prompt posting will be open while there's interest, most likely until this time next year
4. Reply to any prompts you like with art/drabbles/ficlets/fics in parts/links to fics in your LJ. If doing a link to your LJ, the entry must not be friends-locked. Please warn for anything that might be a trigger including something an emetophobe like me might have a problem with.
5. Prompts can have as many fills as people feel like writing. Just because one person has filled a prompt doesn't mean you can't write for that prompt as well. Different spins on the same thing are absolutely welcome!
6. There will be no deadline for fic responses. If you see a prompt you like and want to write it, go ahead!
7. There's no limit to how many you can write either. WRITE THEM ALL!

Character who never, ever takes a sick day is finally convinced to take one and falls in love with being lazy. He ends up taking an extra day or two to recover just so he can finish his snack foods and the show he's currently binging on Netflix.

FILL: Castiel gen (1/?) - Season 11

((Ack, I didn't follow the prompt exactly. When I saw "Netflix," this immediately came to mind!

It's set in Season 11, between Episodes 3 - 6. I tried to be as vague as possible with season-specific details, and I think you can read this as a one-off from any season without major spoilers. But just in case you want to wait until you see the rest of S10 and 11, tg!))


Castiel feels the change at the start of Season 2 of The Wire. His vessel is tired, and has been for many days. Or maybe the weakness is Castiel's. He has never experienced a witch's curse before. The spell wove through his consciousness, driving angel and vessel into a blind rage. If the curse had not been broken in time...

Castiel's grace is drained, as is the body that contains him. Maybe they are one in the same now, weariness affecting flesh and the cold light of Heaven within. His broken wings flatten against his back. His once grand power bows within the vessel.

Castiel enjoys television. He enjoys Netflix in particular, and he is quite pleased that Dean introduced it to him.

But this weariness makes it difficult to focus on the hardships of law enforcement in Baltimore. It aches through his vessel's shoulders. Makes him wince when he re-positions himself on the bed. His suit has become wrinkled and stiff. Perhaps he should have taken Sam's advice and changed into something more comfortable.

Castiel waves a hand and looks down at himself. He expects the pajamas on his desk to appear on him. Instead, Castiel finds the same suit and tie. The pajamas remain where they are, undisturbed.

Castiel looks at the pajamas. Then, he looks at the floor between his bed and the desk. It would take approximately five steps to reach the desk, and five steps to return. Removing his suit and tie by hand and would take at least three minutes of mortal time.

Castiel loosens his tie knot. The fabric slithers from his collar to the sheets beside him.

Satisfied by this minor adjustment, Castiel picks up his remote. It amazes him how quickly he memorized these buttons. He is an angel, of course. Memorizing buttons should not be a large feat for a warrior of God. But mankind has devised its own contraptions and devices. Each seems to have its own sequence of switches and functions. The television, its own controls. The cellphone, its own. Not to mention laptops, or tablets, or cars, or self-check out lines at the grocery store.

(Castiel recognized the "Need Assistance?" button on the touch screen. He pressed this button five times while purchasing three items. By the fifth time, Jane the Floor Manager did not seem pleased with him.)

Castiel sets his head against the backboard. His legs cross in front of him. His back hunches, still aching.

His body has shown other odd symptoms too. The room has seemed warm these past few days. Or maybe Castiel is warm. He has noted an unusual elevation in his vessel's temperature. Nothing dangerous, but enough to stain his cheeks a dull red.

He has also suffered sudden, rough fits of coughing. This is not Castiel's first experience with coughs. As a human, he learned that his body was susceptible to many elements. If he did not drink enough water, his throat would hurt, for example.

But lack of water isn't the problem now. Castiel eyes a bottle of Aquafina, half-drained, on the nightstand. He tips to the side to grab it. The water is still cold and feels good on his tongue. But it does not quell the odd scratch in his throat.

"ihh'TSSSCHHEW!" Castiel's head jolts forward, and his arms flail with surprise. Water sloshes from the open bottle onto his suit pants. With a sniffle, Castiel re-seals his water bottle.

He has been sneezing quite frequently too. This is unusual.

Thinking SPN or Marvel originally, but any fandom is fine...

Characters are stuck sick somewhere with resources nearby... but limited ones. How do they get creative to cope?

Example: the gas station convenience store has tiny packs of tissues but no big boxes; there's a farmer's market that has oranges but no orange juice; the motel has pillows but only one per bed so a bunch of towels could substitute; there are bags of frozen veggies but no real ice packs.

A character can't stop sneezing long enough to explain what set him off sneezing in the first place... but tries to communicate that info anyway.

Because John doesn't want to be sick during a hunt, any time one of his boys is the least bit sniffly, he dumps them somewhere (the pastor's, Bobby's, a motel on their own, etc.).

I was thinking something like "5 Times John Winchester Abandoned His Sick Boys and 1 Time He Didn't" or "5 Times the Winchester Boys Coped With Being Sick On Their Own and 1 Time John Had To"

John finally trusts Sam and Dean to go out hunting on their own. They wind up working a case in a really small town during cold & flu season and it seems like half the town is sniffling and sneezing to one degree or another. Dean's big brother instincts kick in and instead of working the case properly, he keeps trying to do what he can so Sam won't catch it. Could be subtle: he sees someone rubbing his nose and insists Sam go interview a different witness instead. Could be obvious: throws himself in-between Sam and someone about to sneeze and winds up getting sneezed on himself.

One of the boys is sick (or they both are) and it's the case that just won't end. Every time they think they've solved it, something else happens (creature escapes, or their suspect turns up dead, or the whatever they're tracking flees town, or they get locked up by local cops for a night and can't dig a grave, or they wind up in a time loop or something). All they want is for this to be done so they can get some rest and recover, but this hunt just won't end.

Reposting flailbabyflail's prompt from the previous meme, because I still want to try this with SPN sometime: Person A and B are together. But they like to invite a third in from time to time, shake things up.

Person C is someone they know/work with/mutual friend/etc. A and B were already showing interest in C. But that attraction shoots up 150% when C comes down with the sneeziest head cold imaginable (or the sneeziest allergies, if you prefer!)

FILLED: When Everything Falls Apart (1/3)

Everything began to fall apart just after dinner. Dean had picked at his food, which wasn’t a good sign, and had barely touched his pie, which was an even worse sign. Sam marched his brother back to the motel room, popped him into a hot shower, and then tucked him into bed. When Dean didn’t fight against any of this, Sam was certain his big brother was getting sick.

Dean didn’t do sick very well. He couldn’t hunt well when he was sick. And when Dean couldn’t hunt, Dean was miserable. Before Stanford, Sam would try to cheer Dean up. They’d cuddle in bed for warmth and watch movies. They’d take a ride in the Impala and blast music so loud it drowned out the sneezing or hacking coughs. And, well, sometimes they’d jack off together.

But a lot had changed since Stanford. They never talked about all those times discovering each other now. Sam wasn’t sure if that was because Dean was ashamed of it or because it would just be weird to bring up in front of Jess. Since Jess had joined them on the Road, Dean had been thrilled to have people he trusted to hunt with every day, and they were getting closer and closer to figuring out what happened to Dad. But the thing that Sam and Dean once were together didn’t seem to exist anymore.

Sam would have been sad about that, if he weren’t wrapping his arms around Jess every night, feeling her cuddle close as they fell asleep together. Dean made up excuses to go out every so often to give them private time together. Dean didn’t even mind driving while they made out in the backseat like they were teenagers instead of college dropouts who hunted demons fulltime. That was just how it was now: Sam and Jess together with Dean leading them from hunt to hunt across the country.

Until the night that everything started falling apart and Sam, in a panic, had to try to put things back together before what they had was lost.

Dean started sneezing around eleven. Sam got him the box of tissues from the bathroom and made him swallow a small, plastic cup of NyQuil. But Dean’s sneezes weren’t going anywhere. In the end, he’d told Sam to just go to bed and try to sleep. Sam had obeyed his big brother, like he always did, but even as he wrapped his arms around Jess and tried to cuddle close to fall asleep, he knew he’d never be able to sleep.

“uhhh-Chooo! HuhhChooo! Huh-HIH-Chooo!”

Sam was hot all over. Tingles and urges raced through this body. There was need and arousal, sure, but there was also shame and nervousness. Normal people didn’t get turned on by their brothers. Normal people didn’t get turned on by sneezing. There was no way Jess wouldn’t find out now.

“Um, Sam?” she whispered.

Shit. Already he’d been discovered. How could he answer? What could he say? “Yeah?”

“Dean doesn’t sound so good.”

Oh. “It’s just a cold. When he’s sick, he sneezes a lot a first, and then it settles down so it’s mostly coughing after the first day.” Sam could feel his cheeks burning red, but she wouldn’t be able to see that in the darkness. “He’ll be all right.”

“uhhh-IHKKKChooo!”

Sam fought the urge to touch himself. His cock was hard, tenting the sheet and blanket. And Jess was snuggled up right next to him. There was no way she could miss it. But maybe if he didn’t touch it, didn’t call attention to it, she wouldn’t figure out why it was there.

“Sam.” Again, this came as a whisper, but this time it sounded softer, gentler somehow. “It’s okay, if you want to go to him.”

Sam’s breath caught, and for a moment he was unable to speak or even think. All that existed was the panic.

“I know you two used to… I can see it in the way you look at each other. And it’s obvious you like the way he sneezes. So why don’t you go to him? I’m sure you’d both feel better if you did.”

Jess happened to be the sweetest, most amazing girl in the world. She understood. She was even urging him to go to Dean. Which was why he absolutely couldn’t. She deserved better than that. She deserved a boyfriend who didn’t get off on his brother’s sneezes. “No…” he whispered back, though the word broke in his throat. “It… it’s not normal.”

Bringing this over from my tumblr, but:

I really just would love a scenario where a character is having an allergic reaction to an animal in the room and they just aren’t being polite/considerate at all, just sniffling really loudly all the time, rubbing their nose all the time, wiping it on their sleeve, complaining about how itchy it is, sneezing uncovered, either because no one ever taught them what was polite or they just genuinely don’t give a fuck about other people. alternately they are angry at whoever brought in the animal and are passive-aggressively trying to get them to remove it by not holding back with their allergic reaction, and the person who brought it is completely clueless.

( I'm comfortable with most fandoms, but please no SPN or Sherlock (sorry) or any kind of incest pairing if you choose to include a pairing)

Person A and Person B are on a work mission that involves comms. (Maybe they're cops? Spies? Leverage-style conmen? Any show/movie works for me!) Person A is trying his best to relay directions - but this is Sneezy Day of his cold (or the start of allergy season - yay!) and he just can't stop sniffling and sneezing/almost-sneezing into his comm no matter what he does.

Person B is trying to concentrate on this mission...but Person A's sneezes are distracting/arousing as hell/omg when can they go home and get in bed already???

First times are already a little awkward - fumbling, clumsy bumping, maybe they talk through likes/don't likes, maybe they've had a few drinks to get through the nerves?

Adding to the awkward? Person A starts to sneeze. Maybe it's allergy season. Maybe a mood-setting candle or flowers get to him. Maybe he just sneezes when he's nervous?

Awkward x 50 - Person B is kinda into A's sneezes. Like, REALLY kinda into them. But this is still so damn new, and being into sneezes might seem weird to some people?

So Person A is trying not to sneeze/super embarrassed about sneezing. Person B is trying not to show how hot they find all of this. And yeah. All the awkward sexiness and embarrassed smiles and sneezes would be lovely!

SPN, gen. Prank wars between Sam and Dean are in full swing, and Dean buys some sneezing powder to try and pull a prank on Sam. Only thing is, when he goes to execute his prank, something goes awry and Dean ends up getting it all over himself instead. (Ideally in a place where he can't just go and clean himself off right away.) So Dean is suddenly all sneezy, and Sam is like, what the hell, but Dean is embarrassed and doesn't want to tell him what happened.

Person A is always cold. Even more so when he catches a chill. Person B is always warm. B happily shares this warmth, rubbing A's hands together or letting A slide his hands under their shirt.

This normally works well, except when A needs to sneeze. Luckily, B never minds, and A has learned to be less embarrassed and enjoy it. Maybe B offers to hold a tissue and wipe A's nose while A's hands are under their shirt. Maybe B rubs A's hands while A sneezes and sniffles against their shoulder *_*

Two characters go to the theatre/opera, either alone or as part of a group. After the Interval, character A doesn't come back to their seat, and B spends the second half worrying about them. Turns out A had an awful cold/was struggling with allergies if you prefer, kept it together in the first half and fled to the bathroom at the interval so they could finally sneeze freely.

They couldn't bring themselves to go back for another half, so they kept their sneezy self hidden in the loos until it was all over. Cue B fussing over them and gently chiding them for not saying something sooner. B would have gladly skipped the second half to take care of A.

Maybe they also make them take a shower or have them eat some hot soup to help with the congestion and then that turns them into an (also ridiculous and cute) sneezy mess. SPN, any genre/pairing. TW for depression. I have this thing for depressed Dean having a bit of a breakdown (not a kinky thing, just a thing where I very much identify with him as someone who has depression herself) so I’d really like something where Dean is depressed and run down, and physically sick of course, and takes off on Sam to hole up in a motel until he starts to feel somewhat human again, so no one will see him so broken. But Sam finds him and tries his best to comfort him. Wow, I almost didn’t leave this as it’s almost too awful sounding, but I find this kind of prompt really cathartic as long as there is some comfort too. Hope that makes sense, byeee.

SPN gen or slash. Coming off a case, Sam and Dean share a brotherly allergic reaction to something, and both end up with a terrible case of hives. Next thing you know they are holed up in a hotel room, all itchy, sneezy and miserable, rubbing ointment all over each other and wallowing in their misery together.

Sam/Dean. It doesn't happen very often, but once Dean gets sick enough (with a high fever along with the sneezing, etc.) he kind of gives up, shuts down, and lets Sam take care of him for once. Sam has a problem, because Dean needing him like that and allowing something he usually doesn't is a huge turn on, but Dean is too sick for him to not feel guilty about it. Something where Sam is all squirmy and embarrassed, aw, and Dean is totally clueless about it, all sleepy, exhausted eyes and pink nose and constant false starts and weak, shivery sneezes and getting tangled up in the blankets trying to find the tissue box, and whimpering at how good it feels when Sam's cool hand feels his forehead........... Maybe I should just write this, lol.

The Hobbit or LOTR, a Dwarf/anyone (though I love Bilbo/Dwarves). Dwarven sneezes are so big and strong that they feel wonderful for the sneezer, and a non-Dwarf character with a sneeze fetish feels very uncomfortable about revealing their fetish to their new Dwarven lover. Imagine their pleased surprise when they learn how much their partner loves to sneeze as well - and, having a cold, loves to indulge the fetish and then be taken care of.

You had to start this meme while I was at work and helpless to read anything, didn't you? Good thing I have been anticipating this for a few weeks now...

SHIELD has a company hockey team that Clint plays on (I'm partial to him playing goalie now that tg wrote him that way for my holiday giftfic but take your pick) and whenever Coulson is in town he always makes it over to see Clint play/practice. Coulson comes back from a mission without Clint and comes straight to the rink to watch Clint. Clint doesn't know that Coulson has shown up right away but then spots him sitting in the stands and keeps an eye on him during the game. Clint can tell that Coulson is not well and, while he appreciates that Coulson has come to watch him play, wishes Coulson would go home and take care of himself. Maybe Clint keeps looking over at Coulson so much he gets distracted from the game or maybe knowing Coulson is there does the opposite and makes him more resolved to do a good job. And then what happens after the game? This could also be a pro hockey team AU, I guess. I just want more hockey SHIELD boys because I'm selfish like that. :-)
