It's April, which means it's once again time for my annual commentfic meme!



PROMPTS | FILLS

Directions:
1. Post prompts. Any fandom (original fic allowed as well) and any pairing, as long as there is potential sneezing involved character. There is no limit to how many prompts you can post.
2. Please warn for anything current that might be potentially spoilery! (PS- I still haven't seen all of Season 10 of Supernatural yet onward)
3. Prompt posting will be open while there's interest, most likely until this time next year
4. Reply to any prompts you like with art/drabbles/ficlets/fics in parts/links to fics in your LJ. If doing a link to your LJ, the entry must not be friends-locked. If linking outside LJ, LJ might flag your post as spam. So please let me know if you posted something and it isn't showing up.
5. Please warn for anything that might be a trigger including something an emetophobe like me might have a problem with.
6. Prompts can have as many fills as people feel like writing. Just because one person has filled a prompt doesn't mean you can't write for that prompt as well. Different spins on the same thing are absolutely welcome!
7. There will be no deadline for fic responses. If you see a prompt you like and want to write it, go ahead!
8. There's no limit to how many you can write either. WRITE THEM ALL!
9. Please feel free to pimp this on any communities and forums you think would be interested in this.
10. You are allowed to repost prompts from previous or other memes. If the prompt belongs to someone else, just give them credit. You're also more than welcome to reprompt your own!

Any fandom, any pairing or gen, any rating

A character's cold (or allergy fit) follows the same pattern as a fireworks show. It starts out with a few sneezes here or there and then there's a steady amount of sneezing. But it always ends with a spectacular finale of sneezes. Other characters know this and every time he sneezes, they watch/wait to see if it's the beginning of the finale yet or not. His cold (or allergic reaction) just isn't over until that impressive fit of sneezing strikes.

I desperately want to see sweet, soft-spoken Albert huddled over his out-of-tune piano with a red nose and a handkerchief, not sure what to do with himself.

Extra special bonus points for Lord M. sneezing at some point as well (perhaps there's a cold going around?)

Sam and Dean finally, finally have a day off, and they decide to catch a movie. Turns out that's not the only thing one of them is catching. So now he's sitting there in the theater, trying to sniff as quietly as possible and not succumb to the sneezing fit that is creeping closer and closer.

It's spring and my allergies were not kind to me yesterday (I rang the doorbell outside the library 7 times before someone answered finally, and that was too much outside for me). So I was sniffling softly all through picklist yesterday in the library, trying to be quiet and not annoy anyone. LOL

OMG I need to see Jughead all miserable and sneezing. Especially if he's staying at the drive-in or in the school and just makes his little space into a cozy sickbed nest.

Cursefic. Dean hooks up with a girl at a bar one night, who turns out to be a witch. (He doesn't know, though.) He breaks things off with her, and she gets upset- not enough to want to hurt him or anything, but enough to want to inflict a bit of revenge (perhaps mostly for her own amusement). So she gets back at him by following him around town, and making him sneeze at extremely embarrassing and inopportune moments.

Unbeknownst to Sam and Dean, when they first move into the bunker, there’s, like, an entire herb garden’s worth of catnip planted right near the entrance. They don’t notice right away because for whatever reason they’ve never seen any actual cats. But they’re there, all right. And some of them definitely nap/shed fur all over the place in the Impala when she’s parked out front with her windows rolled down. Exactly how many seemingly out-of-the-blue allergy attacks does Dean have before they figure out what’s going on?

The very last year the Winchesters tried trick-or-treating on Halloween as kids, Sam had an allergy attack and was wearing a costume that made it really tricky to actually reach his nose. Deeeeeean..... Helllllp....

Dean/Lisa (Season 6 spoilers)

(I'm usually not big on Lisa/Dean, but this kept popping in my head)
So right after Dean moves in with Lisa and Ben in season 6, he finds out to his horror that (you guessed it) they own cats. Of course he doesn't want to say anything- the last thing he wants is to be a nuisance in any way. So he takes allergy pills, which helps with most of his symptoms, but the cats still make him sneeze quite a bit. He tries to play it off that there's nothing wrong- he tells them that he's just always been kind of a sneezy guy, and that's all there is to it. How long until he gets found out? (Or do they buy his story, and just adapt to his constant sneezing as part of their new routine?)

Every morning for five days in a row, Dean wakes up feeling *kinda* like he might be coming down with something. His throat is *kinda* sore; he’s *kinda* sneezy with like pre-cold sneezes; he feels *kinda* run-down and low-energy. But by each afternoon he’s feeling okay, so he’s not really sick. After almost a week of this, he’s getting pretty tired of it. Then he wakes up the next morning and… yeah, he definitely has a bad cold.
