Watched Monk tonight. Came SOOOOO close to getting it. So clase that I might just consider giving it to myself. I dunno. I'm an idiot. LOL! But I do think I came close enough. I was crying at the very end... Adrian remembers how he used to lie down with his head on his wife's lap and go to sleep while she kept on reading. It was SO sweet *sigh*
And the guest star who played the wife was Glenne Headly who played the lead female role in 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' which is one of my top favorite funny movies of all time.
I caught the old version of 'That Darn Cat' on the Halmark channel ever so randomly tonight! Managed to have a tape ready. Wow. Those were some VERY cute sneezes! Cute tough FBI agent with an allergy *G* I've loved Dean Jones ever since 'The Shaggy D.A.' though he's been in loads of stuff. But he's just too cute sneezing. What an adorable movie! *sigh* I've always adored Hayley Mills, in anything she does. Anyway, I can't make video clips, but I'll certainly put them on wav... it's worth renting if you're into that sort of thing.
Watched Stargate- I love the Unas and Daniel's relationship with them (especially Chaka) Good episode. Very Danielly in mind-set. Which I don't mind, because I really like Daniel's code of ethics when it comes to other worlds and races. Wish some other people would learn that guns and military action aren't ALWAYS the way to go about things.
And I got Hermione's next chapter of 'That's the Way it Is' to beta tonight. A little bit of sneezing already- which I wasn't at all expecting. So I'm very happy and suprised! Yummy Will!

Date: 2003-07-26 03:53 am (UTC)Oh, God! I can't believe I forgot SG-1 was new tonight!! I feel so stupid, because I forgot to watch and tape last week too, and I know it was a good Daniel ep!!! I love the Unas too, so I feel doubly stupid for missing it a second week in a row...of course, going to my apartment complex's 'Free Mexican food and margaritas' party did kinda lead to me getting rather tipsy and that may have had something to do with my forgetfulness *G*
I really love the original 'That Darn Cat' as well...those were some good sneezes, and sneezy expressions. I've been dying to see this movie again for a long time, actually...I'm disappointed I missed this. Tonight is just not my night for TV or sneezy goodness :(

Date: 2003-07-26 04:56 am (UTC)***BUT*** Halmark is VERY good about replaying things... and if you're still up and can set the VCR (or wake up early) the movie is on again Sat morning at 7:30EST. (Check your local listing, obviously)
As for Stargate- oh, I'm SO sorry. Maybe I should post reminders? Tonight's was good (though again, I'm biased because I love the Unas) and ended up with basically just Daniel in the episode. Sam had 2 lines, Teal'c had two lines, and Jack just had a handfull. Daniel carried the whole thing so well.
But last week's was EXCEPTIONAL! I was SO impressed by Michael's acting abilities after that episode. I had to keep reminding myself that he really didn't have people living inside of his head, that it was just a show. But he did it so convincingly! And I cried several times thoughout it. Oh, so touching. Very good ep. You must look out for it on repeats!!
