tarotgalI just won NaNoWriMo tonight, which means that I'm free to write sneezefic again. Want a fic from me? I can't promise brilliance, but I'll do my best for you.

It's got to be original character fic or a fandom I'm really familiar with. I can't do really obscure things that require research & extensive source material reviewing because I won't have time for that. I can't do elaborate situations either if I'm writing one for every day. So keep your requests short and sweet (but as specific as you want within that scope). Again, please don't expect brilliance from me :-) If I reply and say I just can't write what you want and I need you to pick something else, you won't lose your "spot". But you should suggest something else within a reasonable period of time so I can get it written.
Fandoms I'll Write:
Any fandom I've written for before is technically fair game, but I can tell you right now I'm going to struggle to write another fic in a couple of those fandoms. And I can assure you that if you request something slashy in one of my major fandoms (or Strokes) I will LOVE you for making it easy on me. Feel free to ask if I know a particular fandom. You can also check out the fandoms mentioned in my tags for fandoms I've written most recently. I've also written some stories with anthro animal characters, so the sort of story you'd read on sneezefurs is on the table now too.

Because I've been asked this before, I'll answer it here before someone asks again: yes, lurkers are more than welcome to request (you can post with your name or anonymously; I don't mind, that's why I allow anon posting on my journal).

Sam (or Dean, either boy is fine) is cursed to basically sneeze Dean's (or Sam's) sneezes for him. So, like, whenever Dean feels a sneezy feeling coming on, then Sam sneezes all of a sudden and not a thing happens to Dean. I could see this working in allergy OR cold situations. Like, Dean's got a bad cold, so he feels tired and feverish and all that, but Sam's the one who keeps having these sudden, random sneezing fits without any warning.
It's all terribly vague, but I'd love anything you can come up with. If this prompt doesn't give you any ideas, let me know and I can think of something else.

The idea in my head is that Rory convinces him to come back to visit for Luke's birthday but he doesn't want to because he's sick and doesn't want anyone to know he wasn't able to take care of himself.

Characters and/or Pairings: Horatio as the focus, though other characters can appear if you think they'll serve the story. No pairings, because I think they wouldn't work in this context.
Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Horatio sneezing, cat allergies.
Rating/Range of Ratings: G-PG13, though it would probably make the most sense as a G rated fic.
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Horatio is allergic to cats, but up until now has either served on ships that didn't have a ship's cat, or was able to avoid getting too close to them. But by some weird twist of fate, the ship he's now commanding (the Hotspur, Atropos, or Lydia would probably make the most sense) has not only wound up with a ship's cat, but the cat seems to like him and keeps finding a way to sneak into his quarters. You would think Horatio would be annoyed by this, but he actually winds up growing fond of the cat, despite the sneezing. I'll leave it up to you to decide how and why this happens.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): No nastiness to the cat. There can be some good-natured curses at it (gender of the cat is also up to you), but I don't want anything bad happening to it; appropriately enough, this is supposed to be a fluffy story. Also, I'd like Horatio's allergies to be an inconvenience rather than something serious, so he can pet the cat without breaking out in a rash or being unable to breathe. Basically, one of those fictional allergies where the only real symptom is sneezing. Hey, that's what we're here for, right?

I was reminded of one other thing I wanted in the fic. I don't want Horatio to suddenly discover he's got allergies when he encounters this one cat. I'd like him to have known about it before he even joined the Navy, hence trying to avoid them to the best of his ability. I do sometimes enjoy the "unknown/unexpected allergy" trope, but that's not what I'm looking for in this particular case.

Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): sick Daniel (though a small side of allergies is always welcome if the mood strikes). SG-1 is quarantined off-world for an extended period of time due to an alien cold or flu virus that hits Daniel the hardest.
Rating/Range of Ratings: Any
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Team love, humor, respect, and concerned caring. Sam and Daniel acting like close siblings. Care packages from Earth. Monitoring and reporting vitals back to the SGC. Worry about the unpredictable nature of an alien infection. My usual staples of forehead feels, fever, blankets, and build-ups/drawn out sneezes. 😀 At least one moment where Daniel is adorably out-of-it due to sleepiness.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): no overt shipping (especially no Sam/Jack), no graphic mess, no other kinks.

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Either Hobbitverse, Quest or post-Quest cold/allergy discovery, or post-LOTR Gimli/Legolas with a Dwarf-cold-ridden Gimli and an interested Legolas. I love when at least one character has the fetish. Also, in a non-fetish sense, I love the idea of Dwarves having big, fluffy mountain cats that keep you warm as pets.

And I know some people also ship him with Tonks (also in my headcanon, he and Tonks dated but broke up because he was still figuring himself out and learned that she wasn't his type/the right gender. It's modeled after Tonks & the Auror's song "Charlie Weasley".)
Anyway, yeah. That's who I ship him with in my head. Or it can be Charlie solo. Or with his brothers or anyone else, if you have strong feelings. I read an absolutely amazing Charlie/Draco marriage law fic once I quite liked. So, yeah, I'm open to any pairing if you're not into Charlie/Neville.

What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): i'd love to read a fic set in the bunker where sam is cursed so that he can't sneeze. he has an awful head-cold and all he wants to do is just sneeze to clear the congestion or get rid of the constant tickling, but all that happens is a torturous build up and then nothing every few seconds. dean is worried but also lightly teasing him about it. then he finds a hex bag under his brother's bed. after they burn it, sam just cannot stop sneezing, naturally.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): smut or contagion, whether it's wincest or not is up to you :)
