Thus Begins Two Weeks of Busy!

tarotgalYesterday, I volunteered in the morning and then went to a local craft fair where my dad was selling some of his pottery. It was neat seeing it all displayed; I'm very proud of him and his artistic skills. I bought another mug from him. It is all wonky and hilarious and has beautiful colors and I love it very much. I also ended up spending another $150 or so on things. I bought presents for pretty much everyone in my life who I was already done shopping for. DAMN IT! But that means I've got some birthday gifts for the year ahead. So it's not so bad. I also bought myself a $20 steampunk mini hat I can wear to tea parties. It's so pretty!
Today I woke up at 7am, completely overwhelmed by everything I need to get done this week. I wrote out a To Do list first thing and got to work. The biggest thing I still have not yet begun, and I REALLY needed to work on that today during daylight hours as it involves spray painting something outside. But I did manage to make a little progress on things. I have 3 parties in 5 days this week. The first one I'm hosting entirely. The second one I'm co-hosting. And the third I'm just attending (but I have to do prep work for it, because it requires registering books on BookCrossing and wrapping some of them up as well).

Number of Bags of York Peppermint Paties I've Somehow Lost: 1
Number of Holiday Movies Watched So Far: 2 (National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Elf)
Number of Presents Wrapped: Just kidding. No WAY am I going to keep track of this.

I cannot find the damn things anywhere. They weren't in the bag I put them in. I would have noticed if they'd still been in the shopping cart when I returned it, but I checked my car and everywhere the bag was in my home and nada. Damn it. That's $4 down the drain. If you ate them, I hope you at least took the time to enjoy them! :-) I agree that they're super addictive and yummy!
