The Next Day
Dec. 4th, 2017 10:50 pmWell, I missed the sun again today. Darn! I had to stop by Hot Topic to spend my $5 of free VIP cash (bought a $7.50 Yuri on Ice blind box figure and got Viktor in his pretty free program costume from the first episode).
But I did see the supermoon this morning. She was supposed to be the bigest around 3:30-ish and I saw her around 6. So not too far off. Charlie had me up at 3--I should have thought to look then! But, alas, I did not. She was big and beautiful and then the morning sunrise during my drive to work was all pinks and purples stretching across the horizon. I hate being up in the morning, but this morning at least welcomed me with smiles.
Had a busy day at work. And my new part-timer isn't starting until the second week of January. So it's going to keep being hard for the rest of the month. But today I went back to my Amazon Prime Ed Sheeran playlist and, somehow, the algorithm knew JUST what songs to play. Started with Castle on the Hill (which I adore) then moved on to Shake it Off (which I sang along to using the Supernatural lyrics) and Believer by Imagine Dragons (which was MADE for Destiel fanvids, I swear) and Timber (which I MUST dance to no matter what). So I was feeling good by the time my day ended.
I am still overwhelmed and exhausted and not sure how much longer I can keep it up at this pace, but I've got to last 2 weeks. I don't get to crash until December 17.

Date: 2017-12-09 04:46 pm (UTC)Fred, George, Harry, and Ron were the only ones who knew that the angel on top of the tree was actually a garden gnome that had bitten Fred on the ankle as he pulled up carrots for Christmas dinner. Stupefied, painted gold, stuffed into a miniature tutu with small wings glued to its back, it glowered down at them all, the ugliest angel Harry had ever seen, with a large bald head like a potato and rather hairy feet.
