tarotgalCats are adorable, especially when they purr and purr and purr (and don't attack poor, defenseless plush mooses. melydia's cats are much better behaved than mine are).
One thing that's nice about working from home: you can watch The Force Awakens while working in order to prep for the movie later that night and none of your coworkers need to know that was on while you were processing their spreadsheets and coding their mailings. heehee!
The Last Jedi made me feel ALL the things. Luke stole the movie, followed by Rey and porgs. I loved it overall, though I might have whispered "fuck!" at one point. Everyone still in the theater clapped when "In memory of Carrie Fisher" showed on screen during the credits. I loved seeing Carrie's and Mark's names in the credits. One last time...? PORGS, though! And frost foxes (not their official name, but that's what I'm calling them). And a great cast. And nice twists. And more character development and mythology and Jedi-ness and porgs!!!
Friday night is the Yule Ball! It's one of my favorite events ever. I can't WAIT to get all geeky with my friends and wrock out to some of my favorite bands! It's been ages since I last saw Kwickspell live, and the Moaning Myrtles reuinted especially for the season (am thinking the Whomping Willow must be taking care of toddler Rory... but maybe they'll be there too?). In any case, I'm SUPER excited for the concert! I bet the Malfoys will play a Star Wars song or two, also. They've got a Star Wars EP out in a few weeks. I'm not going to lie; I like my Yule Balls to be mostly Harry Potter songs. But I'm not going to complain if some Star Wars sneaks in!
And then Saturday I get to hang out withcowboyguy AND see The Last Jedi again! That's two happy things at once! :-)
Seriously, off to clean my bathroom now.
