tarotgalI got to my NaNoWriMo word count goal on the 17th (which I think is the earliest I've ever hit it). But I still have my 10th story of the month to finish writing. While I'm working on Oliver Wood dealing with goose-typical violence, I'd love to see these requests start coming in to give my plot bunnies something new to be excited about! So I'm opening up requests for my annual gift-giving project.
So what do you need to do?

It's got to be original character fic or a fandom I'm really familiar with. I can't do really obscure things that require research & extensive source material reviewing because I won't have time for that. I can't do elaborate situations either if I'm writing one for every day. So keep your requests short and sweet (but as specific as you want within that scope). Again, please don't expect brilliance from me :-) If I reply and say I just can't write what you want and I need you to pick something else, you won't lose your "spot." But you should suggest something else within a reasonable period of time so I can get it written.
Fandoms I'll Write:
Any fandom I've written for before is technically fair game, but I can tell you right now I'm going to struggle to write another fic in a couple of those fandoms. And I can assure you that if you request something slashy in one of my major fandoms (or Strokes) I will LOVE you for making it easy on me. Feel free to ask if I know a particular fandom. You can also check out the fandoms mentioned in my tags for fandoms I've written most recently. I've also written some stories with anthro animal characters, so the sort of story you'd read on sneezefurs is on the table, too.

Characters and/or Pairings: Gimli/Legolas
Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Gimli has a cold on the Fellowship's quest. It's a Dwarvish cold, which means he's uncomfortable and a little grumpy with it.
Rating/Range of Ratings: any. ;) Gimli is probably not someone who's opposed to getting down and dirty while ill.
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Fetish!Legolas who hasn't gotten together with Gimli yet. He's quite interested in this Dwarven cold and what it does to Gimli. Sort of an enemies-to-lovers dynamic with lots of h/c. In terms of sneezing: I like build-ups and attempted holdbacks, and big releases once that's failed. Not a fan of HUGE focus on mess, but I don't mind it. Would vastly prefer Gimli/Legolas endgame, and cuddling, and nose-touching. <3 Contagion with Legolas experiencing his first Dwarvish cold, or first cold at all, is okay.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): OK if the other members of the Fellowship have this cold, but I'd prefer that it not focus on them.

1. SG1 gen team fic with just Daniel sick. Something warm and fuzzy with protectiveness from the rest of the team and feeling like a family. On or off-world makes no difference to me.
Or
2. Yuri on Ice with sniffly Yuuri and fetish!Victor. Can be as smutty or tame as you like, just no other kinks and no over the top mess, thanks!

Characters and/or Pairings: Horatio, most likely Bush.
Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Horatio sneezing, cold.
Rating/Range of Ratings: G-PG.
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Horatio, now a captain, gets sick and, as usual, tries to keep it hidden so as not to show weakness. Unfortunately, in this particular instance he'd arranged to have dinner with his officers shortly before falling ill, so he can't back out of it. He winds up going to the ship's doctor to ask for something to hide his symptoms. The good news is, it works. The bad news is twofold: not only does the medication make him a little loopy, but while it reduces his sneezing, the sneezes that DO come out are much higher-pitched than normal. Whether or not he still manages to get away with hiding his cold is up to you. As you can probably guess, I'd like this to be a more comedic story.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): I think this would be better as a gen story, so no pairings, please. Also, if Horatio is called out on his illness, I'd prefer him to be a little embarrassed but not too angsty about it (possibly due to the effects of the medicine?), so that the story can end on a lighter note.

Characters and/or Pairings: I'd love Zack, Sweets and/or Hodgins, but I'm happy with all male characters except Booth. Whatever is easiest for you. When it comes to pairing, I prefer the "regular" ones up to season six (Angela/Hodgins, Daisy/Sweets), but I'm open for experiments. There are many male squinterns, after all. m/m is perfectly fine.
Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): As stated above. Usually, I prefer illness, but with these characters, allergies are also tempting...
Rating/Range of Ratings: any
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Poor sneezy squints? Some lab-family-caretaking, failed attempts at toughing through the illness/allergy attack (they're all workaholics),... Right now, I also like the idea of someone having the fetish. Angela, maybe. Or Zack, that might be funny. Contagion is always good.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): I'm addicted to Bones. I can't think of anything I don't like. Well, except... Spoilers. I'm only at the beginning of season 6 and I like certain characters to be alive and/or still at the Jeffersonian.
Wow. This is very imprecise... Give me some time to narrow it down (and remind me to do that). Or surprise me :D
If Bones doesn't work, I can think of something else.

I've no problem with canon pairings, though not sure if I'd be so good at writing Daisy; she's so unique! I might have to rewatch an episode or two to get their voices in my head. But it shouldn't be a problem.

And it would help to know what you'd like not to see, so I've got some boundaries. But if you don't have a prompt in mind, I can certainly come up with something.

Date: 2018-11-28 07:54 am (UTC)It's the week before Christmas and to get to the bottom of their case Sam and Dean are gonna have to interview pretty much everyone in this neighbourhood. Sam is allergic to Christmas trees. He is not having a good week.
Dean is amused at first but naturally he knows how to make it all better in the end.
Don't feel bound by this, but in general I like, build ups/itchiness, I like big sneezes, I like guys trying to talk when they have to sneeze. I like the embarrassment factor, I like allergies that stick around for a bit even after the allergen is gone.
I don't like snot or guys feeling too sick (I prefer frustrated and sneezy to sick, although feeling itchy and uncomfortable is fine).
I hope that helps. Feel free to ignore anything that's too restrictive.

Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Illness/being cold/wet for my boy.
Rating/Range of Ratings: Any except for explicit. Maybe keep it to in-cannon swears?
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): Cad Bane is traveling with a merry band of Bounty Hunters (Bossk, Obi-Wan in disguise as Rako Hardeen, Adult!Boba Fett, Darth Maul on the run, whatever you want) when they have to stop at a ice/snow planet to do some work. Bane gets a cold from him being not good at handling freezing temperatures (or getting soaking wet with freezing water). Or something similar.
Besides that...Obi-Wan trying to help our sickie? Nothing overly slashy, (though there can be a small hint of it) just Obi-Wan being the pure (snarky) cinnamon roll jedi he is. The Cad Bane being a grump about needing to be taken care of. Lots of blankets for the sickie. Character bonding.
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): Multiple characters being sick at the same time/contagion. (weirds me out for some reason). Explicit (or heavily implied) sex/slash, large amounts of mess. Nausea (and what follows it). Kids/younglings.
Hope this works ok! I saw you had one clone wars story on your site so I thought I'd give this a shot.

I barely made it past season 1 in the long long ago time, so I have pretty much no idea who Cad Bane is (though I know he made an appearance, that doesn't help me much in writing his character). I could give it a try, based on a few episodes and internet sources. I'd be happy to try. But I don't want to disappoint you if I get things terribly wrong.
I am willing to try if you're willing to risk it! But if you have a backup option you'd like just as well, let me know.

Characters and/or Pairings: ) Lex Luthor (dcu) or male, high class/snobby semi-evil (or just grumpy) dragon (like smaug I suppose? Ive never seen lotr). No pairing for either. But you can make/use any oc’s you want of course.
Sneezing specifications (which character/characters you want sneezing, illness/allergies, etc.): Illness/cold/chills/fever for Lex Luthor, and dust or pepper or feathers (or a michevious fairy or adventurer) for the dragon. Basically stuff that could really set off a sneezy dragon’s nose with lots of twitching and firey sneezes and so on. The dragon can also be sick if you wish.
Rating/Range of Ratings: Gen
What DO you want to see (be as brief or detailed as you like): holdbacks!!! sneezy talk!!! Blankets for the sickie, people blessing the sneezer, some mess? (It depends, you can decide. Def mess for the dragon though). Nose tickling, heroes trying to help their respective villains through an illness, stuffy talk, handkercheifs, announcing a sneeze. Firery/magical sneezes. Finger under the nose to try and hold back. Pinching your nose shut. People giving the sickie their coat. People calling the sickie ‘poor thing’. Kisses on the nose setting off a sneeze, Stuck sneezes, illness denial. And buildups, buildups are probably my favorite part. Stories set around the holiday season and that adding to a character’s grumpyness, a sick character finally admiting they are sick, something small or human sized entering a gain thing’s nose and tickling it from the inside.
There’s a lot i like, pick and choose from any/all of it :3
What do you NOT want to see (squicks, pairings, etc.): Explicit sex/sexuality/slash. Nausea, people being mean to the sickie (beyond just teasing them or their nose a bit), blood, swearing, allergies to pollen or animal hair, contagion, sneezing on food...

I have been thinking about it but I ultimately know that I will probably be just as unsure as I have been in past years if not more
so. Basically, you know that I am very easy going by now and you also know what kinds of fandoms and couples I like; and you most certainly know what kinds of things you are capable of writing so I will leave it open-ended for you. Like I said, I will try to think of something but I really don't know right now.

Not totally sure what I’m thinking as far as request but I always love loud disruptive sneezes... was thinking maybe something from Supernatural where Sam has a cold and has huge “wake the dead” type sneezes. Or maybe returning to the Merlin universe where Arthur sneezes super loudly? Let me know if this works and if either setting is more appealing to you! Otherwise I will return with a more detailed idea/request/prompt, assuming you accept the request!
