Notes: Written during my 12 Ficlets in 12 Days in 2018-19 project project for Anonymous

I fear this is far too dark for a gift, but "Snape" is a vague prompt to work with, and I've been dying to write something in the Cursed Child alternate timeline because angst is just glorious. I made a mistake halfway through and, though I sort of fixed it, I'm worried the story is now very strange because of it. But in any case, there is Snape and he is sneezing, so I hope very much that you like it, anonymous original poster!

I mean, in my opinion the darker the story the better! I loved it!! Thank you so much! I particularly enjoyed the tea cup exchange, and Hermione realizing that Snape has to sneeze before he does. And the bit with Scorpius at the end was adorable.

I never really understood the fandom's hatred of Cursed Child, because I did enjoy reading it(although not nearly as much as I did the books,) and as a theatre nerd I can only imagine that it is amazing live. However, I will say that Snape was my favorite part because I viewed his journey as very in line with canon. I loved that you showed how he got into the resistance. Thank you so much for writing this!!!
