3. Prompt posting will be open while there's interest, most likely until this time next year
4. Reply to any prompts you like with art/drabbles/ficlets/fics in parts/links to fics in your blog. The entry must not be friends-locked.
5. Please warn for anything that might be a trigger including something an emetophobe like me might have a problem with.
6. Prompts can have as many fills as people feel like writing. Just because one person has filled a prompt doesn't mean you can't write for that prompt as well. Different spins on the same thing are absolutely welcome!
7. There will be no deadline for fic responses. If you see a prompt you like and want to write it, go ahead!
8. There's no limit to how many you can write either. WRITE THEM ALL!

They've Discontinued My Perfume by Anonymous

Character gets turned on by their own sneezing (whether just naturally, or because of a curse or something) and tries to ignore it. But then they catch a cold or have a strong allergic reaction to something, and it becomes harder and harder to ignore, so to speak.

What a sensual, intriguing prompt that I made very pedestrian. .__.

Rain sluiced off the roof of the inn as if the ramshackle building were engulfed in a waterfall. In the absence of wind, it was falling almost straight down in wavering, transparent sheets that looked like blown glass from the right angle. The thunder of it on the cobblestones of the village square was a rushing, urgent sound. And all that water was rushing somewhere - downward he supposed - flowing through the uneven streets in every direction. The stream rushing past the inn's foundation was already inches deep, and off the road he was sure the mud was many times deeper. However you looked at it, they were going to be stuck here for some time.

Trevor stood under the overhang by the front door and crossed his arms against the chill. He was in his shirtsleeves and the chill was substantial, but he'd left his cloak upstairs. It was almost as wet inside the inn as out, and he figured Sypha needed it more than him. In the last village they'd been to, she'd received a nasty wound from a căpcăun they'd been hired to destroy. Luckily, Alucard seemed to have absorbed much of his mother's knowledge of medicine, for he'd been able to make a salve that staved off most of the infection. However, it was clear that Sypha had needed to rest, and so they stopped here, at a village that called itself Copac, somewhere between Bucov and Buchau.

The rain had hit about an hour before they'd arrived and it hadn't let up since. Trevor was inclined to take it as a bad omen. Water was life-giving, but being wet made you sick. He'd experienced that enough times on his own to know. Sometimes it was 40 miles between towns, and sometimes it was even farther between places you could actually buy a bed. Or where you felt safe buying one. So he'd spent his fair share of nights in ditches, trees, overturned wagons, even a barrel once or twice. All fine and good until you added the wet. All that rain just settled in his head and chest, like a demon of misery.

Alucard said that wasn't how it worked, but he was a fucking vampire and had probably never been ill in his life. Trevor just knew these things.

He could feel the damp settling into his head already. He'd woken with an ache that didn't bode well, and now there was a pressure in his face and he couldn't breathe from his nose. He rubbed it petulantly. Damn, he was cold. But he didn't want to be crammed into the attic room they were currently sharing with three other travelers. It was crowded, for one. For two, it stunk of wet straw, although Trevor wasn't unaware of his own odor. For three... he didn't want Sypha to fuss at him. Sypha or Alucard. Both of them had been getting awfully sweet on each other and also, somehow, him. And he didn't need that.

It was still raining. It was going to still be raining forever at this rate. Somewhere in the gloom, a goat bleated. No one was out in this weather. Trevor sniffed again and his nostrils flared. Ugh. He was going to sneeze soon. He could feel it starting, incubating within his nose like an ugly basilisk. There was a prickle he couldn't reach irritating the tender parts inside. Though he scrubbed at the outer appendage, there was no stopping him when he got going, and he felt his lungs stagger and stumble, catch on the sneeze, force it out.

"HRRUDSCHH!" Ugh. That'd set his head to pounding, and he could tell he wasn't done yet. He pressed a hand over his nose and mouth to try and stop himself, but again, it was useless. "Hah- Hrnsch! HAHRDTSCHH!" His palm had been protected from the onslaught by the nice, supple leather of his gloves. His fingers, though, uncovered, were now damming a messy pool. He wiped them on his pants.

Fucking water demons.

"Dear me," came an annoying, cultured voice from behind him. "Bless you, Trevor."

He scowled over his shoulder. Alucard was leaning in the doorway of the inn, all long limbs and casual, bestial strength. He looked none the worse for their long journey, aside from a patch on one elbow of his coat. The bastard.

"Hearing you say that sounds damn wrong," Trevor grumped. "Shouldn't your tongue catch on fire or something?"

Alucard smiled. "I'll keep you updated. In the meantime, I was wondering whether you wanted to come in. It sounds as though you've caught a nasty cold, and Sypha is feeling well enough to have given us some fire to dry off beside upstairs."

"I'll have you know, I'm perfectly fine," said Trevor, before sneezing again, productively. He took pleasure in Alucard's small moue of distaste.

"Evidently." Alucard shook his head, pale hair looking almost luminescent in the gray stormlight. He produced a handkerchief and pressed it upon Trevor despite the latter's objections. "Come in. Shall I lead you like a dog?" He put his hand on Trevor's lower back.

The touch sent shivers all over Trevor's body and he jumped away, heading inside only to escape another. "Eat shit," he said. "I'm going to fucking sneeze on everything you love."

"Is that so?" Alucard mused, holding the door. "Well, you've had a good start. Look at the state of you."

Trevor frowned. "What?"

"What," replied Alucard, and ushered him in.

Omg, nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! No, don't say you want to give up! I'm so flattered, aaah~ You say the nicest things and this is just some short-ass fic. You read it even not knowing the series, and I'm just so grateful for your feedback. Thank you!!!

The show has it's issues, but I love it, and you absolutely can't beat the voices!
