Robes

I know, I'm a little obsessed. And worried. LOL!

So... maybe it IS just that part of the time they don't wear the robes. Here's hoping!

*crosses fingers* If they cancel Quiddich AND don't have the students wearing their uniforms, I'll swear off the movies forever.

Exactly! Though the fourth one has a different director already... who might have a completely different vision than this guy. I've honestly never seen any of this guy's movies... though from the subjects they sound entertaining... just not so much family friendly like the first two HP movies. *shrug*

Meh. I don't know. Seems to me if it's not Chris Columbis, it's not really Harry Potter. I just... don't want to be disappointed. Though it would be hard to be disappointed with my Rupert. Love him. <3

Heehee! Ron looks fantastic in his shack scene outfit- all dirty and all :-) Rupert seems to look better and better the older he gets :-)

As for chat, I do have AIM, but my chatting all the time days are gone for now. I just don't have the time to spend on chat the way I used to, I'm afraid. So I'm never on. Things are pretty hectic my way right now, what with work for my thesis, so my little free time comes in bursts between work(which is why e-mail isn't as hard to keep up with). But here and there, I can spare a few moments. So if you see I'm online and you want to drop me an e-mail about chatting, it could probably be arranged. :-) I'd love to chat with you :-)

I think the article you posted before, where they stated that they no longer wore uniforms, is bull. It was probably a rehearsal- notice Harry wasn't wearing glasses in one picture, and Draco's hair wasn't slicked back.

Well, I'm not so sure about that. In the shack pic, Rupert and Gary are both in full costume, and Daniel and Emma both seem to have make-up in multiple pics to make them look whomped by the willow. And McGonagall was in full costume in another pic. So I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say it was "bull". Why would they bother with some people's costumes and full make-up and not others? (unless, of course, they were testing make-up coincidentally between takes) And after all, isn't Draco allowed to change his hairstyle?

As for the text of the article, it seems to me that it's a bit ambiguous. It seems very possible that at Hogsmede and at other points outside of classes- such as after exams have ended- that they would not wear school uniforms just as they have not in movies 1 and 2 at times at school. And I certainly trust Newsweek more than The Sun, though pics in both were consistant. I have seen both pics with robes on the kids and without, and both seem to me not to be rehersals. That's just MHO though. I'm holding off final judgement until I see more pics.
