tg's Realm Relaunch: September 23! (And drabble prompt request)

In just one week (September 23) it will be TOS's 23rd anniversary. I'm planning to relaunch tg's realm with a new design. There might even be a little bit of new content up. I've got a not fun dentist appointment that same day, so this will be something fun to which I can look forward.

I've been working on my memory section these last few days, which has taken longer than expected because I keep getting distracted on YouTube. The more than 75 fanfic pages didn't even take this long! But it's been fun tracking down video clips for some of the things I thought had been lost forever to time. I watched several episodes of shows last night I thought I'd never see again, and it was interesting how I remembered far more sneezes than there actually were. Back in the day, I used to write fanfic for shows in my head, expanding upon situtions in canon or coming up with brand new scenarios in other cases when I wanted a character to get sick. And now I've found my people and get to share those stories with you all! The internet is truly magical.

I'm thinking about starting to write a series of 23 drabbles for the occasion. Anyone have a prompt word and/or a character or pairing they'd like to see?

I don't have any words I'd like to see, but if you can find a way to write a drabble for the following characters, I'd be delighted;

*Horatio Hornblower (surprise, surprise)
*Dr. Bashir
*Malcolm Reed (aka the man who gave us canon sneezing in Star Trek: Enterprise)

Sorry if I'm a bit greedy asking for three, but since no one else has commented yet, I'd figured I'd take the gamble.

And congrats on revamping the site! It must be a lot of work, but also very satisfying to see the fruits of your labor!

And, yeah. I love the satisfaction of creating something--website, story, etc. It's nice to have a finished product at the end I can point to and feel accomplished.

Have you seen The Umbrella Academy? Because if so, I'm really into Klaus lately; it would be lovely to see him in one of your drabbles.

If not (or if you're looking for even more fandoms), how about back to the Buffyverse, with Spike sneezing in a Spike/Xander or Spike/Angel pairing, for old time's sake? :D

I HAVE seen The Umbrella Academy, and Klaus is possibly my favorite :-) Though it's hard to pick favorites with that bunch.

But I'm putting down Spike/Xander and Spike/Angel as well, and we'll see what happens. Thanks!

LOL, Klaus is the favorite of just about everyone I know! Including my RL friends who aren't even fannish. There's really just something about him, isn't there?

(Although, agreed—they are all great!)

Btw, if you're interested, I did recently post my own first Umbrella Academy fic to AO3, starring Klaus. There's no sneezing, but there's lots of h/c. (It's long, though, so please don't feel obliged to read out of politeness, lol!)

But I'm putting down Spike/Xander and Spike/Angel as well, and we'll see what happens.

I mean, I wouldn't say no to sneezefic with Luther. Or Vanya. or freakin' any of them, really. But Klaus is just so wonderfully whumpable. I was surprised to find out that his cult wasn't a thing in the original comics for the Dallas story arc. That's one of the best parts of season 2!

I have been getting the notifications on DW & AO3 when you post, but I haven't dived in yet. I've had too much going on to get sucked into reading longfic. But I do intend to get there soon. Klaus h/c is so good, and I've missed your writing :-)

(day12 anon) I can't wait to see the new site! I'm not super familiar with sneezes on YouTube / from shows ( didn't watch a lot of TV growing up) so I bet your memory page will help me discover some new stuff.

as for a prompt, don't have a character or ship in mind but what about a good old classic kink prompt, "hitching" or "hitchy"? (haha i just rly like buildup...im predictable)

There's a lot of Sesame Street shows on the page, because I didn't watch a ton of mainstream television when I was growing up either. But there are definitely some other things as well.
