I'm trying to preserve my mental health and still get these written and posted at a consistent pace. So sorry this is a little later than I'd originally planned. I hope you like my version of this prompt. Is "shocked" unclaimed in the 132 moods project? It looked like it was, but I'm so behind in updating the list.

Aw! Poor Horatio! Nothing can ever go easy for the poor lad, can it? At least he finally got that tickle out (and whether he, Archie, or we readers are the most relieved, I can’t say), but—as usual—in just about the most embarrassing way possible. *coos over the poor boy, but quietly, as more attention is obviously the last thing he’d want*

Thank you so much for this! I like how Horatio's comfortable enough to talk about his itching nose with Archie, and how Archie's observant enough to try his best to keep Horatio's embarrassment to a minimum. And Pellew's reaction in the aftermath was just the right amount of stern and kindly, though Horatio probably feels it was more on the "stern" side.

As for the itch and sneeze itself, I could absolutely feel Horatio's discomfort and frustration as the sneeze failed to materialize, and I can see why he'd feel good after all that, even if it was replaced by his usual self-consciousness very shortly thereafter.

Thanks again for this! And I just checked, and "Shocked" does seem to be unclaimed. I say you're free to use it.
