Notes: Written during my 12 Ficlets in 12 Days in 2020-21 project project for Anonymous

I made the image for this one last year, and it was of some candles. No clue what I had in mind then, but this is what fell out last month. I got a little carried away with building this world out in my head. Not sure where it came from, but it was a lot of fun to play around with these characters and jump into the middle of a quest-in-progress. It turned out to be m/f and a little bit in the fantasy/adventuring genre. I hope you like it!
